Twilight Pentagram is such a wonderful follow-up song to Eccentric Party Night. The lyrics on that one, when thinking about the past and how far they've come, make me feel emotional, too... I'm so happy they finally brought closure to the Oddballs' story.
Man, I really want an MV for this even though the background story of how they were formed was so sad, I enjoyed that they hid Natsume because they treated him like a little brother and didn't want to get executed like all of them.

My favorite thing about this song is you know that the beat is happy, but the lyrics hold a lot of memories. Be it a painful or magical one. I love them so much
I always say I wish this was the theme of the franchise. Not only because I massively prefer it musically to what's official, but because I feel the Eccentrics sit at the heart of what makes this series so good: the stories. I didn't expect much going into Enstars, and was staggered by just how much is going on behind each photo-perfect smile. And this song, in light of all the Eccentrics went through, embodies that perfectly. They sing on, and keep dancing, whether their story is known or not. But if you know, you know, and the music is elevated. Also, I love Shu. So much.

Tenshi (Tenshouin Eichi) wanted to reform the school and gain popularity. But the school didn't want to take the blame for its own bad students so Tenshi chose the 5 to blame for all the problems and defeated them in their Live performances to be seen as kinda heroes of the school which gave him more control

The 5 Eccentrics were highly gifted individuals and didn't (seem to) have to work hard to reach where they are, yet they were singled out by the school (Eichi's tactics) for their talent. This caused the masses to become jealous of them because they felt the Eccentrics were unfairly hoarding school resources. Put simply, pre-War, most students were lazy, and it was because these 5 were highlighted by the school that the students saw their laziness in them, and wanted to get rid of them to prove that hard work > talent and that anyone (they) can make it if they try. When exfine, a group led by the ordinary Tsumugi, defeated the Eccentrics, it was symbolic of that. Of course, it's also because the masses just wanted to bring down someone better than them.
