"Party FIRST, country SECOND"
Absolutely nailed it right there
Not quite, with how that party have behaved I think it’s the individual first, the party second, the country third
Same applies to labour under this leadership
No. Money FIRST, Party SECOND, and Country? Whatever he feels like it.
Leadership FIRST party SECOND for both of them
Father in law first, party second.... country, third, maybe?
He pushed the Corbyn button. It means he has nothing.
As for Rusty Rat with his huge huge pool what a joke that guy is) check out his pearly teeth he loves to con you with? Got an NHS dentist Rusty?
The Tory broken record - 'Back to square one', 'he has no plan', 'Delivering for Britain'. I wonder if he actually think that if he keeps saying it over and over again that we will actually believe him. Good luck with that. Anything is better than the Tories.
I would love to go back to square one. Back to 2010 when the country was not broken and people were better off. It is going to take a decade to reverse the damage. Sunak must be living in another world to claim that their plan is working and people are better off.
Id love square one right now. I could still get a dentist appt, a loaf of bread was less than a quid and my job wasnt under threat.
@@philipdouglas5911 absolutely correct. Square one is better.
back to square one.. I'd rather be there than where we are now. We are not even at square -40.
Square one would be brilliant right now
Rishi talks like he is in opposition whilst clinging onto things that are no longer relevant, never answering a single question and pretending that Keir Starmer's comments are not mortally wounding him. It's a good watch
All wearing the same suits dancing the same tune pretending to be on opposite sides , one big joke.
He doesnt answer just simple question.
The so called PM gets asked a simple and specific question on school meals and his response is about what Labour is doing??? What is the role of the Speaker?? Shambles.
It’s not the Speaker’s job to make a judgment on the PM answers. His job is to run the House to order. It’s our job to judge the PM’s answers.
The speaker is only the tea lady
Deflection, with the burden on themselves their recourse is "whadabout dem?"
@@NoelSlevin That's true, but he has issued judgements about the quality of the answers before.
Sunak attempting to take credit on inflation when it's the Bank of England that really controls inflation, when inflation was over 10% Sunak was always saying that it wasn't down to the government, it was events out of their control with Covid, the price of oil, the war in Ukraine etc. Starmer put Sunak in his place by mentioning that "in 2008 he (Starmer) as DPP was putting terrorists in prisons whilst Sunak was making millions as broker betting on the markets which helped to crash the world's economy, "Tory party 1st, country 2nd, britain about to be the only major economy that no longer makes it's own steel, Sunak's free child care promises is nothing but a mirage, has he (Sunak) found time to work out why thousands of parents are being told by their nurseries that they won't get free child care that he promised them". Sunak tried to criticise Starmer on green policy when Sunak has cut green investment in renewable energy and issued more licences for shale gas and oil production - hardly green by the government.
Starmer replied to Sunak "There's only one party that crashed the economy and that's the party sitting right there opposite, he's Mr 25 tax rises and he's nothing to say on child care". Sunak goes on about how Labour would pay for childcare when the Tories have squandered £billions whilst in government.
"Families are Struggling with the cost of living crisis, trying to workout the household budget, balancing spiraling mortgages, prices and eye watering bills, and then at the last minute are thrown into chaos because their nurseries say that they can't the free childcare he (Sunak) promised". Sunak called it a practical issue, I (Starmer) "prefer the honesty of whichever of Sunak's colleagues briefed to the Times that it was and quote "a complete shit show". "When will the PM realise that the biggest practical issue facing britain is the constant farcical incompetence of the government he leads".
Sunak even had to bring out the old Corbyn soundbite out again because he couldn't/wouldn't answer a single question.
Sunak pounded again and against the ropes by Starmer.
The knockout will come when the GE is called and the Tories are obliterated in the GE.
Not a huge fan of Starmer but he really pulled Sunak’s pants down this week.
This week? He's been pulling them down for months. His backside must be bleeding with all the spanking he's taken.
Eastenders 😂
Tbh he usually asks good questions but sunak never answers them, blames labour or says everything is fine
Did Starmer get a good peep at Sunak’s bottom, do you reckon?
Sunaks comes across as very FAKE 👀👀👀
Fishi has not answered one question, he could not lie straight in bed.
Rishi always banging on about Labour taking us back to square one, he doesn't seem to realise that the British public would rather be in the 1st square than the 9th circle!
What is meaning of 1st square and 9th circle?
@@RAZONEbe_sep_aiii_0819 9th circle of hell
@@RAZONEbe_sep_aiii_0819 square one (beginning), 9th circle (of hell)
His saying back to square one is better then being on the ninth circle, a play on words, circle of lies of the tories, but is kinda shit because a square, like a circle, has a start and end and if the perimeter is the same in length, his comparison logically would mean the same. Was stupid really. We don't want to repeat nonsense at all! And this has been nonsense beyond compare since boris, I'd say. But let's be honest no matter who's in we as a nation are fucked and the parties want to do well before they out us.
Voting for tories or Labour is the same old shite, it’s a 2 party system and needs a complete reform of the system because this country is only going to get worse.
I am absolutely fed up with Sunak telling me how good things are and Rosey everyone's bloody fiance's are. That is not the case. You cannot piss on our shoulders and tell us it is raining. Apparently the UK might already be in a technical recession. What planet is this fool on?
When they claim its what the country wants they mean its what the few tories who voted him in want.
The UK, excluding London, has a gdp per capita lower than fucking Alabama; A single state out of 50, 51 if u count Peurto Rico, and the UK manages to still fall behind the most renowned incest capital of Earth.
Sunak nil - Starmer 6
We are in big trouble if Labour get in. At least sunak is trying to sort the country out. Starmer is all for immigration
i dont know about you but ive had enough of the whole system ,We do nothing and thgey just keep draining us .to think i served in the forces for this bunch of green card crooks .,
Imagine if the hundreds of people in this room actually worked towards improving our country rather than slagging each other off like children in a playground.
Like a more European style consensus driven parliament, rather than a UK/USA style combative one?
The EU is in a disaster mate 🤣 riots all over
@@peterfood4791 Germany and France aren't the EU
Anyone else getting just so tired of all this and thinking the general election couldnt come soon enough?
Deffo, if I never see them again in my Iifetime or farage I will be relieved
Yes. Tories out, give someone else 5 years, can't do a worse job than this absolute shower.
Yes and he said sniping from sidelines, well, give us an election.
As much as I spot the gimmick with these parliamentary debates triggered by petitions, the "Call an immediate general election" debate is scheduled to happen on Monday. Everybody should email their respective MPs and request that they attend!
Even when it does the Tories will pull it out of the bag they always do, at least they have a plan! The problem is they always struggle to deliver it. Just the sheer lack of understanding working class people is enough to turn the tables, the issue is and will always remain high taxes and higher spending.
GENERAL ELECTION NOW, PETITIONS ARE SCREAMING, NO MORE!
Two tax cutting budgets still to come.
Nooow!!!
There isn't even a veneer of answering the questions anymore. What a complete waste of time. Why on earth doesn't the speaker pull him up on it?!
The most incompetent speaker I have ever seen.
He is part of the Tory party
I mean he is answering the question, but in much the same way you could say 2+2 is stopping the small boats
@@ammo8581the speaker is a tory supporter he needs to go. He's always been a bit of a 🤡
It’s not within his role
What the PM doesnt understand is that back to square one is a massive improvement on where we are now
Definitely!
I despair. I have NEVER, and I’m 73, heard such a load of primary school playground bitching in all my life. We need some mechanism of actually REMOVING a rogue Govt so out-of-touch with their paymasters, the very people they deride.
It's the tories that are children. The rest have to dance with it because people keep voting for them.
You'd have thought the monarch would be able to intervene, but nothing happened to Boris Johnson when he lied to the Queen to unlawfully prorogue parliament.
Their landslide victory in 2019 was from 44% of votes, that 44% supported their brexit despite 52% of votes being cast for parties proposing a confirmatory EU referendum.
Delivering for the people my arse
Its called elections
Its a shame we are not American...
Starmer needs to call out Sunak never answering a single PM question.
He has plenty of times and all sunak does is deflect
He did last week
In less than a year Starmer will be called out for the same reason.
@@jjefferyworboys8138 maybe ?can't be worse than now
@@jjefferyworboys8138 Correct!
‘Mr 25 Tax Rises’ is a good line
Will Labour reverse them, is the question you should be asking. The answer is No !
@@jjefferyworboys8138What a stupid position to take. Labour may not be ABLE to reverse them because of the state of the country. The blame lays with the conservatives.
@@jjefferyworboys8138Fundamental misunderstanding of how anything works. When Liz Truss caused double-digit inflation was the solution to deflate the economy by 10%? Of course not-once the damage is done, you can't just snap a finger and reverse it.
Sunak is actually a parody now. It's unreal.
Absolute joker…
His rubbish
Corbyn still living rent free in the tories heads shows the fear they have for him 😅😅😅
Corbyn supports Hamas.
Doubt that, Corbyn had the worst Labour showing in the last election for nearly 100 years.
If "back to square one" means a time before record NHS waiting lists, when I could get to see a GP or a dentist, when schools weren't crumbling, rivers weren't full of sewage and trains were running, when I could afford my energy bill and still have money left to buy food for the family, when the UK hadn't become the first country ever to impose economic sanctions on itself, I say: where do I sign up?
He keeps threatening us with a good time! Election cant come soon enough
This. 100%
100% - perhaps there should be back to square one party - I’d vote for them
What the fuck is the point of Sunak even showing up. Never answers a damn thing.
You are so right with your comments
One of my favourite parts of PMQs is watching Penny Mordaunt show nothing but contempt for this clown of a PM any time he's at the dispatch box.
Looks like Mordaunt spends her expenses eating.
RISHI IS NOT ANSWERING QUESTIONS 😢
Never but only he point fingers at others
Trained not too!
At no point did the unelected PM answer a question. The Tories have broken Britain
Was about to say. It was just shit slinging and deflecting with zero answers
The look on Richie Rish's face was priceless, he doesn't like having the piss taken out of him/hearing the truth. Get the squatter out!
Get rishi out get the boats stopped get the immigrants out
RISHI ANSWER A FUCKING QUESTION!
Yea well said mate
Keir is becoming a master of roasting Rishi and the Tories 😂
He got under Sunaks skin
Not difficult, he has endless material to work with, the way the Tories go on!
Saint IKEA Starmer has got nothing else in is head apart from roasting Rishi.
Sunak has forgot it’s Prime Minister’s Questions. He didn’t answer one question directly. He simply criticises Starmer for stuff that no one is really interested in. The key thing is everything is broken in today’s UK and the plans to fix it aren’t working.
Tories are done. Love how Starmer nailed it😊
The country has and must produce its own things and must have its own economy and be independent of others , what's the point of giving power to other countries when you have your own country?
Saint IKEA Starmer shouldn't be so confident to think that he won't be ousted if he wins the next election.
nailed what exactly?
@@dominokid7996That utter shower of shit sat opposite him.
You don't want either of these traitors running our country
TORIES ARE UNHINGED!!
Tories no different from the Republican party in United States; no humanity or understanding of the average person struggling.
1:37 he didn't like that video jab, rishi hasn't got a clue
I loved that bit 😂😂
They haven't got a clue about the average "born & bred" British citizen between them.
Why does'nt someone ask Mr Sunak what he means by " back to square one".
YES! Played the Corbyn Card! BINGO!!!
I would prefer 'back to square one' than more tory economic barbarism.
He keeps threatening us with a good time! Election cant come soon enough
Starmer: asks a childcare question to PM?
Sunak: Labour has no ideas, starmer wants to abolish the monarchy???
Starmer: asks the question again?
Sunak: starmer wants to abolish the monarchy and supported Jeremy Corbyn??
Starmer: once again, no answers to the questions many want to know??
Sunak: we are delivering for the people, but you want to take Britain back… oh and you support Jeremy Corbyn…
Sunak is the biggest failure of PM (in line with Truss) cannot answer a question… the faces of his cabinet members are showing … they know they are doomed for chaos and failure at next general election… Tories out!
This is basically what happened in the run up to Corbyn vs Johnson. Corbyn looking for ways to fix the country, and the tories and all of their media outlets attacking Corbyn instead of arguing as to why they will actually be better for our country. And the thick british public just lapped it up
“Shitshow”
Reckon Keir’s said some variation of ‘shit’ in 4 of the last 6 PMQs
Can you think of a better description of what he's going to inherit when Tetchy Titchy Richie finally gives us the long overdue election?
All of the mentions of "shit" have been quotes of what Tory MPs have said.
@@clivemortimore8203 yes, I know
"The more they slag off behind his back the more they cheer in here." Damn, Starmer is becoming savage.
Not watched this yet but I can guarantee you that Sunak will refer to the Member for Islington North at some point
Edit: Well that was obvious wasn’t it
Correct, and also... back to square one!
@@tomconway635 what was even more predictable than both was Sunak saying that Starmer can’t identify what a woman is. The diatribe of culture wars he used in his opening statement was laughable
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Rishi looks petrified of Starmer
Starmer couldn't petrified a mouse.
Not to me I actually see Sunack always laughing.
@@jjefferyworboys8138agree talk talk talk and says nothing.
Its time for opposition questions & for the tories once again to wheel out Corbyn
I think PMQs has gotten to a point where you can actually play the Rishi Sunak drinking game. Take a shot every time he says everything is going great, says Labour don't have a plan, says back to square one, breaks glass for Jeremy Corbyn or pretends he was asked a completely different question to the one that was asked
You really hate sober people...don't you?😂
There’s going to be plenty of Tory MP’s without a seat soon….
@michaelhibbert4393,
And it can't come soon enough.
lets hope so
The angered look on that little weasel's face right at the start... This was certainly a good one!
How many did you get ticked off your bingo card this time?
2:04 How is "taking the knee" against racism not a British value?
Sunak has spent too much time with his Trump supporting Republican friends.
Sunak is appealing to racists with that one
According to Sunak, British values are racism and transphobia.
@@bereal6590Aka A Dog Whistle
@@CharltonCharles yup
Why does the pm never answer a question. And how dare he mention Labour raising taxes? The tax is as high as it’s been for seventy years. No one is benefitting from the tories policies!
Conservatives have been promising a brighter future since Cameron and in almost every possible metric, life has got worse in the UK. Time for a change, I can't wait for the election and a Government with principles and a willingness to listen to reality.
What a absolute shambles and embarrassment British politics has become. A monument of Guy Fawkes should be erected outside by the citizens to show their disdain.
Now the no more steel being produced in GB is a massive issue.
Imagine we went to war !!
Who do we get steel from and at what price ?
Love this PMQs. It's indescribably funny.
We know Sunak is in trouble when he mentions Islington North, or Jeremy Corbyn, who is twice the person our little spiv could ever aspire to. I sometimes map Labour's last manifesto on the events of the last four years and (albeit hypothetically) couldn't imagine how we could be in a worse position. In fact, quite the opposite.
Just twice? I'd say at least 50 times
We have PMQs but never seem to get any PMAs from Rishi Sunak. Penny Mordaunt looks her usual enamoured self listening to his meandering responses.
Mordaunt's sitting their wishing she hadn't withdrawn her leadership bid. She's projected to lose her seat thanks to his non-leadership so no wonder she can't hide the bitterness!
I'm still waiting for sunak to answer a question 🤔
What questions were asked?
This is beyond ludicrous! Imagine you being on a panel interview along other candidate, and EVERY question is asked of you you answer them by trashing the other candidate 😂. Why the PM is not forced to anwer every question with answer instead of letting him blurp what Labour is not doing or won't do? He is the government, he is the responsibility of this, why not answer damn questions? Childcare, housing, immigration, homelessness... And list goes on!
I know, its frustrating. It didn't use to be this way. It became clear from Bojo that you could just bluster and deflect your way through PMQs.
The questions are just as shit though, kier will mention care situation, nhs, economy or rwanda then the actual question he asks is 'why are the tories so incompetent?' it's just a slag off show and it's an open ended question that doesn't need answering.
I haven't heard a specific question on policy and the reasoning behind it, I haven't heard any 'how are you going to do this' i mean ffs the first 3 questions they were slagging eachother off about the week's news headlines, taking jeers at anyone who got caught in the spotlight.
It's a joke, always has been, country has never been run by any of these clowns, its run by civil service which has been cut again and again by the tories leaving us in an incompetant state.
@@UserLW6z Agreed, it's just devolved on both sides. I think the precedence set by Bojo and followed by his successors has shown PMQs has become pointless. Its a waste of time for the opposition to ask questions if they won't get answered and just deflected away, and so it's become a slagging match.
I personally think this speaker is incredibly weak. If there was more of an effort to force the PM to answer a direct question, perhaps it wouldn't have got to where it is now.
What do you expect from an Indian?😊
Slick Rishi is absolute toast. He didn't answer one question!!!
It’s like a class fight with the two smartest kids 😂
Someone inform Sunak it’s PMQs so it’s for the current government to answer the questions not the opposition! These tories are utterly useless!
Penny Mordaunt doesn't look very convinced by her leader's words.
She’s not the only one nevermind they will be gone soon enough
It is kind of difficult to blame the other party for the situation when you have been in power for 13 years
Hardly the first 10 years were spent rebuilding the public finances after Labour had bankrupted them. Then came Covid and lets not forget Labour pushed for stronger restrictions.
Why doesn't the speaker try adding bit of value to this process and demand the PM answer the question that's put to him. And we don't move on until he answers it. Honstly in it's current format it's like a West End produciton, which would be fine if there weren't so many fires.
A West End Production? We should be so lucky. The Tories have given us the Village Idiots' Christmas Panto.
Who came up with "back to square one" as an attack when things are demonstrably worse now than before the current term? (4 PMs ago)
This is another open goal I hope Labour will exploit at an opportune moment
He keeps threatening us with a good time! Election cant come soon enough
I love how Rishi's only line of defense is to attack left wing values "Wants to abolish the monarchy... doesn't know what a woman is..." rather than actually deliver on any promises of fixing the housing and cost of living crisis. I can hear the bottom of a barrel being scraped...
First question, and he brings up Jeremy Corbyn!
Jesus Christ! This man isn’t fit to run a bath, let alone a government.
It’s all sound-bites and lies to him.
Has he EVER actually answered a question?
They should rename it to PMD: Prime Minister's Deflections
The Prime Miniature continuing to piss on us and tell us it's just raining.
This should be prime time viewing on mainstream television
I really wish he could be forced to actually answer the question, or at least for Keir to throw out a "I may have missed it, but I don't think he answered my question" every time he doesn't (i.e. every time)
I would love the leader of the opposition to say he has no questions simply because the PM will not answer any questions
Time is up for the Tories
