- So, along the golf escape skip (which is now RNG free), there's a way to skip the result screen entirely on any level, as long as you pause, hold up and exit the level.. it really saves a lot of time. This run was pretty great!

Mainly because of mistakes. He’s making less at a time, and this is usually how speed runs for new games kinda work, until glitches need to be exploited to get faster. And by god people will exploit them.

I like the subtle characterization that comes with speedrunning Pizza Tower, since Peppino is at his angriest when he's moving fast.

well, you're always going to be outpacing the cannonball, so you can't just get hit by it, it's necessary to always slap it back

Edit: I wonder if it would be faster to pay Mr. Stick for the boss door in world 2 BEFORE entering Fast-food Saloon. It would skip waiting for the door to rise, but it would only save time if you can get to the level door before the animation finishes.

One potential time save for PizzaFace is in phase 1, if you can grab an enemy out of midair as he shoots it from his nose (or as he's rising out of the air from his slam) and do the body slam attack (Down+Grab, hold up for more height if it's the nose move), it can hit twice, stunning and immediately dealing damage, getting you to the next attack faster.
Speedruns in a game built to be fast are sure to be entertaining

Impressive speedrun, but, every time I watch some Pizza Tower gameplay, my stomach beckons in aching impatience and glorious agony to get its severely burning craving satisfied by a good pizza that's not made in a chain restaurant.
