In some religion the cleaning of the dead body is not in public. Anyhow around the world there is different culture everyone should respect 🙏

As a christian in Britain , i am sad we dont have anything like this.
We have very little contact with the deceased once they have died.
No washing , dressing , nothing...
Just a funeral , stories, songs and buriel or cremation.
Its very low key and sombre.
Usually 2 weeks after the death , to allow organisation
..and family to make relevant plans.
I would love to have the chance to wash and dress our loved ones.
Theres something beautiful and simple about this funeral.
Very in touch with nature and surrounded by intense love .
Nice to see no mobile phones too, its more peaceful.
In some cultures ( eg jamaica ) they are all trying to take
..many photos, and constant filming , which they really enjoy .
Every culture is different .
I respect that .
Thank you for showing us your ways of life.
Ive never seen anythjng like this before .
May he rest in eternal heavenly peace .

in the procession we clean the body of the deceased before the cremation, the knife symbolize that we clean the nails, it is used like when we cut nails so that they are neat and clean
