When you say you cut the metal piece off the back, so you mean the little tab that sticks straight out towards the rear tires? Or you cut out the whole metal plate and that tab? Can you make a video showing more views of your Rene? Like from side etc?
Oh yeah, No issues at all! So behind the foot well you have that little plate that bends up. I cut that right where it starts to bend up and was good enough. Can't beat the after market footwells tho!
With just normal riding no but when I'd hit mud holes or bumps the tires would rub a little on the metal behind the foot wells so I cut the back metal piece right off now they're perfect.

Behind the plastic right where it starts to bend up. I got Far mudding footwells now though.

Yeah man I haven't had any issues yet at all I'm pretty impressed. My high lifter ate axels like crazy.
Do you have to run spacers?? If so what size?
The 32s fit on nice stock so no spacers needed. I did end up doing some minor trimming tho just cause.
