Watching this brings me back to nostalgia… while there were indeed those who participated in our glorious festival, I remember as a young kid , circa 1986, feeling extremely safe as a proud Eyo Eko Laba participant being surrounded by elders and fellow Isale Eko citizens who my grandmother(Mama Asade) placed me in their care. I am not sure I am a fan of commercializing our beloved Adamu Orisa festival. “Kile fushe ? Owo, owo lefuse, Kilefunra ? Aso, aso lafunra. Aso funrewa , egbe, egbe lontowo, ekunjare…
It is good they are celebrating at the Tafawa Balewa Square now, in the 80s Eyo are being infiltrated by tout and miscreants , they Rob some people, molest those who are afraid , some were even pushed in the lagoon , Cater Bridge was a no go area on Eyo day then . Lots of fight between the Eyo and the Ibo traders . Some people always take good advantage of the celebration to cause mayhem in the 80s , so it was stopped for some time , but now , people can not be beaten or attacked like before

Am proud to be a lagosian.
K1 is spectacular, special messages for those comparing oranges with bannana. I don't see any other Fuji Musician fitting into that shoes.
you are a real king of fuji music.
nice show, thank you guys. I admire you
