The Desert Bloom deck is so underrated. It has some great Commander staples in it that can just be pulled out for another deck (Tendershoot Dryad for example - idk why they put this in there, haha), and if you upgrade the deck, it can be sped up a little and be a token powerhouse. I picked up the deck for parts to build my Necrobloom deck, and had so much stuff left over that I decided to upgrade it.
As a Golgari fan, Winter was my first commander precon since getting back into magic. While I do want to make a Rendmaw deck, I focused more on Winter as a Golgari good stuffs. No infinite combos, just very mean and oppressive black & green. With enough self-mill you can easily and consistently churn through your 99 and keep that delirium up while also stocking your graveyard with tons of options on what to bring back during your end of turn phase, since Winter brings back any permanent (with a finality counter). This mean you could bring back say... Sheoldred and force your opponents to sacrifice a creature on their turn just as easily as grab something like Evolving Wilds, netting you two land drops for landfall effects like Rampaging Baloths or Scute Swarm, or a source of hexproof/indestructable for to protect your board from destruction, or Nesting Grounds to move Winter's finality counters onto your opponents' stuff. Golgari graveyard shenanigans is fun.
I love this deck. There are some really underrated gems in there, like the cistern and you can upgrade this to a total beast without spending a stupid amount of money. And yes, Nesting Grounds is perfect for this. Kinda surprising it wasn't in there from the beginning.
Yall have me excited to play the deck! It’s gonna be my first commander experience and been nervous it wasn’t a good buy because other youtubers talked down about it
Funny I brought overdrive, desert bloom and those are my favs. I think anikthea should be on there cause it built right…which isn’t hard can be a power house
I updated my aminatou deck, with Zur, the enchanter as my commander, and also the secret arcade room card and the ondu spiritdancer is a unlimit combo in that percon
Mothman is strong my deck is upgraded with some gross miss cards 😅😅😅 I got him too 88/88 on the weekend in my play group they didn't like me much after that 😂
I’m a new player and was interested in blood rites but it is quite expensive. With newer commander decks being regularly stronger than older ones and you said there’s more vamps coming out early next year, would it be worth holding off and hoping for a cool commander precon then?
@@BlueNSour they use the "Remaster" collections to reprint some popular staples or expensive cards from that's plans expansions. 'cause of that they don't bring products together, as for example, "commander decks"
Now since your channel icon seems to be based off of the Cabaretti symbol, I wanted to ask how you think of that precon? I have played it last night against Quick Draw and it destroyed that one
Personally i think Blood Rites should have been on this list, Innistrad remastered being the first set in 2025 will be sure to have nice Vamp reprints.

I used it as the core of my bristly bill deck
And is so fun to play deserts in my opinion.
My friend got it before I could so I settled for quickdraw, it’s so fun to play versus.

Bloomburrow and Ixalan decks are getting restocked in dec/jan, a bunch of US retailers are doing pre-order bundle, 4 decks for $150.
@@the.Aruarian great deal.
Have a link for this?

finally someone who rates death toll. a lot of other UA-camrs don't rate it but its so much fun.
Brand new to mtg and this video was very helpful. Thank you!

What's your opinion about the Explorers of the Deep precon? I got it and really liked the explorer mechanic.
@@henrique188 it’s so damn good and it’s honestly my favourite out of the box. Once you upgrade it with some staples, it goes hard.
Bello, Bard of the Brambles from Bloomburrow is my favorite from that set. So unique and silly.

Solid video
Good information presented in an efficient format. God bless

I upgraded the hell outta that deck - it's my favorite (I love Fallout 76 and being a degenerate at the MTG table).

Don't expect precons but the set will have a large amount of vampire support
I imagine the Remastered set will not have precons.
@@kozad86 oh why would that be? As a noob I just assumed each series had a couple. Is there a way you can tell?

I bought both eldrazi precons, and I would love to see a meta eldrazi commander deck.
I have the MH3 one and I hardly play it.. Eldrazi are just so mana hungry it’s hard to get a fast start

there's a rumor that ixalan is getting a december reprint so maybe vampire one will be cheap to get and velicoremper
Vamp decks usually 60-70$ on tcgplayer
still crazy they didnt release 4 or 5 commander decks with foundations
Desert Bloom is interesting, but the upgrade path is more expensive than other?
Nah, I upgraded mine cheaply. Spelunking, Hedge Shredder, Desert Warfare, Lazotep Quary, etc. are all super cheap pickups.
Love Family Matters!!
I had a scenario with ms bumbleflower where swords my opponents commander had him draw a card and i gave him a 1/1 counter and the dude Thanked me 😂

It's at the end. Issue with it is price, and finding it
@@TaunaMTG Mid $70 range right now on tcgplayer
Winter deck is really strong
