You are not tripping! I’ve tried the all soft, all soft mega (this one was rebranded to the curls) and the all soft mega curls formula. The first two formulas melted into the hair and didn’t require as much product. For the mega curls conditioner, it helps to remove excess water, apply product, and then add a little water for more slip/spreadability. Almost any time a salon brand reformulates a line and dedicates it to curly hair overall, it almost always sucks
On ulta it says the curls version is the same formula as the all soft mega & only the shampoos are different formulas. Have you repurchased? Is it as you remember?
