Gods that was amazing! Thank you so much for the kind words and this amazing reaction! I knew this one would blow you away and just to say JoYos song about a certain elven vampire is on my list.
A big thank you to Aaron for recommending, and Brandon for dropping by the chat. I know DJ is big into gaming, but Brandon may be the key to his entering into the world of Toonami anime. Replay the chat for comments from Brandon.
Wow this song was incredible! I love the lyrics, the voices worked so well and just...everything about this was amazing! Thank you Aaron for getting this in front of DJ, and a MASSIVE happy birthday to you good Sir! DJ, thank you for this brilliant reaction! So much fun, I loved this, loved watching you break...
well, good news as i ams sure you have already discovered, but jonathan has gone and wrote orginals attuned to baldurs gate characters, he has one for astarion, gale, karlach, shadowheart, and few general songs for the game. He has continued this path so expect more baldurs gate from him.
It feels like a Colm song, but it was Jon who played this on his bouzouki. Jon doesn't have as many "weird" intruments as Colm has, but he has some cool stuff like that bouzouki, a mandoline, a mandocello and a hurdy gurdy 😁 And if you don't wanna guess/asume: Jon usually credits whoever did the instrumentation/production on his songs. This one he did by himself and most of it during a twitch stream. (On which he read a bunch of Diablo lore and spoiled Diablo 4 for a lot of people in chat without realising it 🤣) So yes this is bardcore and not OST as you found out already. So are most of his Baldur's Gate songs. The first one was sponsored from the game and the holiday one was as well. The character songs are not. But all of them are Jonathan Young originals.
Mind blown again, DJ? Great reaction. You had the order of voices correct and they all worked so well together! You'll also find more bard type originals on Jonathan's channel for the latest Baldur's Gate game.
and you shouldn't need to play the older games; at least the previous games have not required you to play the ones before them. It's mostly story/lore that you may miss, which isn't a huge problem. (I have played since back in the original Diablo, including the licensed expansion to D1 made by a different company, but I haven't played D4 yet)

Another good one - but then, all Jonathan's originals are!

Colm and Jonathan create musical magic
And I love your reaction to this song 😊
i said this in the orginal video but those low vocals are like they arose from the depths of hell there so deep

What’s the other string instrument in this song?
@@katygaston8777 I know he played bouzouki for this song. Don't know what other instruments are in here exactly (besides guitar).
Happy Birthday Aaron! Great reaction DJ
I found this gem right when it came out and was very happy to see that you picked up on all my favorite little nuances! Goated song for sure
JoYo sounded like HE had a bit of an Irish accent, here. And I'm here for it.

This should be good! 😄 I just adore Jonathan's voice in this! 🥰
Thanks 😊
Now I'm curious if you're aware that JoYo recorded a full official album for Magic: the Gathering.
