Good advice! I remember my professor also said that warm colors bring an object forward, while cool tones/ colors recede it back. Do you find this to be the case?
Absolutely, it's worth making a video about that sometime as well. It's always important to realize that it's somewhat relative; a color we consider cool can in relation to certain other cool colors be the warmest and therefore stand out more or come to the forefront. So you could say: the warmest color within the whole will stand out more than the rest.
