So many interesting books, most of them I haven't heard of so thanks for sharing! Long Way Down is a really good book, definitely worth all the hype in my opinion.
You've gotta watch that mixing a paperback in with the hardcovers stuff, Bill. Now I'll have to go out to the barn and re-park my truck several times to assure cosmic forces remain properly aligned. Yeah. Stiff is a lot of fun, except it made me reflect on the odd circumstances that have led to me seeing such an unusually high number of cadavers in my lifetime. 🤫 But anyway, Mary Roach has a whole series of books, and I'd say they're all decent or better. Same with Larson. I remember how well you liked that Track Series, so I hope the author's other stuff measures up. Didn't know about those "Voices" books by Foner -- sounds interesting. I'm curious about that Power, Faith, and Fantasy title as well. Thanks for the video, and have a nice weekend.
I read Rutherfurd's Irish series and the others you mentioned, enjoy his writing very much, read Booneslick, McMurtry rocked, have The Splendid and the Vile, may get to it next month, enjoying my October spooky reads, finished two Grady Hendrix novels, pretty gory and now readiing The Sentence by Louise Erdrich, a haunted bookstore, excellent, and Witch Wood by John Buchan, blurb says Buchan's favorite, but mine remains The Thirty-nine Steps.
I’m reading Isaac’s Storm now 👍🏻👍🏻 It’s been a long time since I’ve read one of Larson’s books; I think the last one was In the Garden of Beasts. I started The Demon of Unrest this past summer but ran out of time and had to return it. It’s on my “reread” list. Looking forward to the release of Framed this week. I’m on 3 waitlists 😄😄
I added a couple of the books to my lists. Thanks. Have a good week.

Long Way Down and Isaac's Storm are both great books. Salt: A History sounds like my kind of book.
