Could you please make a video on CPW fed patch antenna on HFSS ? I am unable to get desired results mostly due to a glitch while assigning port. I am assigning lumped port and the error being displayed is- "Too many conductors touch lumped port"
I have not done this. However, there are selected substrates for fabrication. This analysis is not practically required. If you are working on substrate development, you can do it manually by creating new substrates in HFSS.
Thanks for your sharing about optimization, and I have one more question when I want to generate the far-field radiated power result of all parameters, but it always shows only one curve. Did you have this kind of issues before?
hi, for example, a varied from 1 to 10 mm, and the step is 1mm. We also want to know the radiated power for a = 1mm to a=10 mm, not only the s-parameter curve. I can get the s-parameter for a=1mm to a=10mm, but I can't extract the far-field radiated power plot same as s parameter.
Sorry Sky Chen, I did not find that option in HFSS. However, in HFSS>Design Parameters you can manually put the value of the variable, say a =1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and simulate for each value. After that, in Results> the desired parameter say realized gain> Primary sweep (select your variable, here a). In this case, you will gate a curve for a versus realized gain.
Hi, I found that once we ticked the item Optimetrics>add>Parametric>options "Save fields and mesh", then we can generate the radiated power curves of all the parameters. Anyway, thanks for your answers about my problems.
@@Jayendra854330 can u please tell me how to plot frequency versus gain plot. And how simulation time will faster. In peano fractal antenna it take long time in simulation 30-40 minutes. M.no 9780542228 And Thanks for reply sir
thank you for your brief explanation jayendra sir its helpful in 2024 also
Any idea how to get gain for every parametric change? While plotting the gain, its giving the plot for only fixed value.
Axial ratio is not showing optimteric graph .kindly show that
same problem
Sir very informative video. Can you share me video for cutting and addiing different shapes for a patch antenna ?

Hello Sky Chen, can you please tell me exactly what results you want to extract?

Thanks for sharing the information.
Video is very informative. Your all videos related to Hfss very helpful for me. I have a question, can we plot gain versus frequency plot in hfss?
Yes, we can.
