Nice video. Although you start with the term 'Drone', I appreciate how you transitioned to using 'UAV'. Well done :-) I look forward to your videos on FAA regulations and how (or if) you can fly commercially.
At 5:52 in the video I can see information about the sensors. However on the website I'm unable to open the additional info. Do you need to register first to see this?
Hi Xavier, we'd be happy to send you more information regarding our various sensor offerings. Do you mind sharing your email address with us? You can also DM us on Twitter @precisionhawk
PrecisionHawk Hello, on your website I mailed the same question about the different sensors possibilities. That was two weeks ago, when can I expect a reply?
These are great videos, but why after sending in 3 or 4 emails to your sales guys won't anyone respond to me? Do you just not like selling equipment? I'm confused.
Hi Justin, may we please have your email address so we can check on this for you? You can also DM us on Twitter @precisionhawk: twitter.com/PrecisionHawk
Incorrect. Now you must legally be a pilot to operate a small UAV over a field.... So, yeah, you do (now) need to know all the info of a regular pilot as a farmer pilot.
Hey Devon - You do not need to be a pilot to operate a drone over your field or anywhere in the US for commercial use. All you have to do is take a simple operator test- you can learn more about that here: www.wired.com/2016/08/ace-faas-new-test-become-pro-drone-pilot/
So are you saying you don't need to take a part 107 test through the faa to fly this drone for agricultural use?? or more importantly for the individual farmer? because as I understand it a farm is a commercial entity and requires a 107 certificate to fly.
