Wow... Only watched first 25 mins and the ref already made 2 bad penalty calls against SA and missed the AC boy playing the ball in the ruck. Can't be bothered to watch more. 16 vs 15. And I'm not even from either school. Boys were playing hard tho. Nice one.
why is SA performing haka? textbook cultural appropriation. A very good chance for a colonial school to teach its students about the concept because i doubt they understand the complexities and history behind haka.
what u on?? its literally SA tradition and New Zealand is connected to SA Rugby which is why SA is the best Rugby school and New Zealand has players who were from singapore and SA so dont comment if udk anything
@@evan.escent 💀im not even from SA, NZ literally knows them and thats the reason there is Kiwi Cup in the first place, it is literally All Blacks Cup and the trophy is from them and everyone knows SA bro
@@nichole1492 it was donated by a former NZ diplomat, not anyone under the all blacks brand. in any case, haka is a māori tradition that is not for any new zealander to give away. it’s really disrespectful if SA simply performs it without understanding it - i.e. which iwi’s haka they are appropriating, the efforts to suppress māori language and traditions by white new zealanders, that are in this really ironic sense “given away” by diplomats as a parting gift like haka…all im saying is that it’s really sad if SA boys don’t understand the gravity of what they are performing as a ‘battle cry’ that looks cool
