Lol. This reminds me of Jade and how he's mad Victor didn't share EVERYTHING. Jade likes these deals for information but it's actually incredibly unfair to make deals with Victor like that. There is a hidden price to getting info from Victor and right now Tabitha seems to be the only one who gets it. Victor had an insanely traumatic childhood. It was so traumatic that he has repressed a lot of his memories. He doesn't want to remember bc it all hurts so much and he never really got the chance to grow up. He needs someone to help him through his trauma if anyone wants to get at what he knows. That's the price--he needs trauma therapy. He needs people to parent him emotionally. Because the pain is just so intense. I can't even imagine going through that as a little kid and being left all alone. It is just horrifying.
At 1843 there's a drawing on the top left that looks like it could have some meaning, what does it look like to you? To me it looks either like a tornado or a huge column of light coming from the sky.
I think on the new season , that he might js stay from the town to maybe sacrifice himself (when they found an escape to the town )or that's where he rlly belong cos he said on S2 ep8 "this is my home" so he basically have no where to stay.. ☹️istg FR he rlly DESURVS better he went so much trauma then realizing he can't escape that trauma (real)
When I heard him say that & saw the look on his face, I thought, how incredibly sad. 😢 He lost his Mom & his sister. I wonder if the writers will mention whether his Dad was ever there & what happened to him.
Donna didn’t show up out of nowhere. She was honoring her word with Boyd to give Sarah something to do. Our fears will become reality. Jim and Randall are anxious and giving into their fears.
That's so true. I've been really critical of them, especially Jim bc I think he should know better, but I often forget that aggression is one of the responses to fear.
Take it easy on Victor. He has no one else in the world. His family is all gone and he’s lived there for over 40 years. Why would he want to go somewhere new with all kinds of new fears he hasn’t figured out and solved for himself. Dude is in his 50’s. It’s like people who have lived a majority of their lives in prison. They get out and head right back.
@ freaky wayne Victor is institionalized and it is like spending half of your life behind bars and upon being released its hard for them to cope on the outside, I agree whole heartedly with your comment.
Victor calling this place home was very discomforting.. Ethan giving that picture makes me nervous that he could be in danger. victor gave him the sweater for a bigger reason...
I'm not surprised or discomforted over Victor calling it his home. His whole family is dead. He has NO ONE outside of that place. That place is his family's resting place.
i think Ethan will be a survivor in the series, and him giving the picture of himself to Victor while being alive could hint that Victor's sister is also alive.
Of course. Fear of the unknown is scarier than monsters you know, and Victor doesn't know the outside world. All he knows is this town, his family rests in town, of course he don't want to leave.
Technically he never saw saw it. He heard the death but didn't see the monster come out and kill him. Obviously since he survived the night afterward, he was in the right spot to not be seen either, so if he couldn't see the mosnter then it couldn't see him either. I think the reason the show has shown us the deaths by the monsters themselves is so that we the audience know that discount Chris Evans is full of shit with his theory.
Randall also suggested the dead might be in on it. Something which can easily be disproven by examining the carcasses left. They usually leave the faces intact. Just need to touch it to make sure it's human.
Makes sense regarding the role theory. Victor's mom is connected to the children in the tower so is Tabitha with the dusties. Victor had a sister, and we have Julie with Ethan.
Another thing to mention, if you go watch somewhere in Season 1 Episode 8 Tabitha is coming up the stairs from the basement and has a vision of a spiral staircase with toys on the steps as she walks up. Has to be the lighthouse and she has to save the children like victors mom attempted to
I think Donna is a red herring. I started feeling iffy about her a few episodes ago and it looks like a lot of people are feeling the same way. However! I think the writers are counting on us loosing faith in Donna so it can be revealed in a shocking “twist” that she’s good and she can die in a heroic way. (I just have a feeling she’s not making it to S3. Order will be thrown out if she dies and chaos will reign.) I’m probably completely wrong but that’s how I’m feeling at the moment.
My thought is, if there is a mole, my most likely guess would be Donna. However I don't think there is one. I think they have been giving us red herrings, like Tabby wondering if they actually died in the RV crash.
1 - The ashy kids might be the children Victor's Mum was going to save.. 😭 Was there three of them? 2 - Randall is awful, completely paranoid and has made Jim completely paranoid. I don't think there's an insider. They're just being annoying and extremely dangerous. Interesting that the drone can't fly above the tree line though. Their dumb plan was thwarted. 3 - Victor has memory issues, possibly related to all the trauma. Enough trauma can cause brain damage. Alternatively, he's just morbidly terrified. He thinks giving them information will get them killed but his mind is slowly being opened. 4 - Ethan and Victor are such adorable friends, and Victor is slowly opening up finallyyyy. 5 - I thought the drawing was the tower old mate was chained up in... not a tree.. 👀 6 - If they leave Donna tied to the tree to "see if she survives" that's what they did at the salem witch trials to innocent women. Randall is evil and crazy. Hate the character, absolute waste of screen time.
Victor didn’t want to go into the house where Ethan’s family is staying. Could that be Victor’s home? And seeing another family in his home is too painful.
That is most definitely Victor’s house….at least that’s what I think too, and in the opening credits there is a yellow house in a drawing with a “swirl” around it???? Could the yellow house be a connection to the lighthouse???
You are overthinking it. Possibly. Victor did not want to enter. Probably because he knows how Ethan's dad feels about him. He was avoiding awkward situation. Or, there's something supernatural about Victor, Similar to the monsters, where he cannot enter without permission. That is a popular theory.
I have to say this I expected so much more from season 2. I feel like we know the same amount of information as we did in episode one and 2 of season one
This is like working with a slow cooker! You have to smoke your ribs to get them tender! They are slowly cooking the show!! I'm enjoying the mysteriousness of the show! I have at least 5 theories and I think all of them are probably wrong!!
now we know the monsters can be killed, we know that they can actually "enter" the house by the dreams, we know they are not a biological monster but supernatural(no fluid system). I dont understand what more u want, u want them to rush everything and skip all characters development like every other shows are doing nowdays ? This serie is amazing because everything is just on point, not rushed, not slowed just balanced
Victor has been there since he was a child and has gone through a lot of trauma. We don’t even know how long it was with just him before other people arrived. He knows nothing else but this town. So it is home for him.
He wasn't alone. All the people from the car grave yard are DEAD. He betrayed them after making a deal to bring back his mother and sister... and feels guilty as hell.
Only reason I think he feels that way is cause hes been there most of his life, never matured and still feels and acts like the 10 year old boy that arrived there. His entire family died there, so basically that is his home, as sad as that is.
They Steal - the girl who took Sara’s brothers jacket and ended up dying by the cicadas first. They Break - Kristi’s girlfriend that broke all those things in the room during her withdrawals, as well as stealing the morphine. They Touch - somehow this would have to be Randall or Julie. Randall tends to get pretty physical with people. But idk why Julie would get attacked by the cicadas that seemed random.
@@jaylenwillingham5345 by "they touch" for Julie : I think Julie is liked and appreciated by everyone, especially by Elgin. She doesn't have any enemies in town. So I think it might be "being touching". Also, when Julie was giving some advice to Elgin to relax (taking a bath), the same day he took a bath, something tried to drown him. For "they steal", it might be for Marielle - she stole morphine from the supplies when she arrived because she was going through withdrawal. For "they break", last logic answer might be for Randall. I'm not exactly sure why, but I remember him beating up this guy from Colony House for going through his bag, or just having violent reactions in general.
If Randall wants to see what happens at night, he should either stay outside at night or let the monsters on the bus. He should not force Donna or anyone else to stay outside.
it's sad that victor has no interest escaping that place since he doesn't have anything or anyone outside world, he's basically nothing without this place 💔
I agree, a 7... To be honest, they really should have stepped it up it's the 8th episode of the season and we spent the majority not really doing or learning much.
lol this is the netflix problem, yall getting spoiled from netflix releasing all EP at once. JESUS CHRIST its a slow burn for some reason. PLUS ITS LITERALLY THE CREATORS OF LOST lol
The fact that there were 3 people chained up and all of a sudden 3 people had dreams seeing the music box, I just feel like there might be a small connection.
@@Zen-10 well I figured he does to a certain extent but those three saw all of them in dreams and were either attacked or scared like the junky and if im not wrong Boyd saw them in the waking world, i could be completely wrong about this theory though :)
randall was controlling the drone and he didnt seem surprised that it didnt go that high but why would he agree if he didnt know if it went that high. He used it and knew it could go higher. Maybe the satellite was heavy or maybe randall is a mole
I have a feeling that whoever sees the symbol ... they become crazy and somehow turn into one of the monsters over time . ... I think Christopher turned into one of the monsters and I think the milkman monster is christopher .. they look VERY similar... I could be wrong but that's a theory I have 🤷🏽♂️
Victor has PTSD he’s hiding things because the last time someone explored it, his Mother, she never came back. This story is based on An accused witch making a deal with a Demon to keep her kidnapped twins (boys in white). The demon challenges her to a bet involving a game of Tarot Cards. They become trapped in an endless game ( the people of the town are the tarot card characters, trapped in the town in an endless game). I believe some of the characters are on the witch’s team (Boyd) looking to free the children in the Tower (Victor mentions his mother previously trying to rescue the kids) and other things in the town on the demons side, the night walkers for one and the new threat that’s coming. Look up The Lost Expedition of 1506, it’s American History it’s based on Cabot voyage and Beothuk native Americans (their real symbols look exactly like Tailsman)
Why is Jim really thinking the voice is from a real person!!!?? Doesn’t he already know there’s a lot of people hearing and seeing things that aren’t real!!!
I'm so glad I found your channel! I started to watch FROM last week and your videos really help to immerse ourselves in the series universe. Thanks so much and keep up the good work 😁👍🏻
Probably reading into it too much, and I'm not sure how it would tie in to the rest of the riddle, but... they (Boyd) touched Smiley and passed his contaminated blood on to him, they broke open Smiley's chest cavity, and then they stole the monster bile. Also it should be noted that every time the cicadas were seen or heard throughout the episode, it's only while Kenny is around.
Boyd brought something back with him .Martin said when the music box stops they are coming. Maybe they are there and that's what they're experiencing with the dream and the music box
Victor has been there all his life. He’s seen everything and has it figured out. He acts the way. To stay alive. he knows that you can’t trust anybody but the children.
Things to consider 1) Did anyone notice how foggy it is in the town? 2) In S2 E2 Donna told Boyd that there were 25 people on the bus all but 3 were accounted for. We know Ellis and Kenny found Kelly tether to the tree and she told them about her boyfriend Brian. There’s still 1 person unaccounted. 3) Did anyone notice the drawing in the intro of the naked man and woman? I think that’s Sarah and Eljan.
Yes- I noticed the fog too! Kelly and her boyfriend wasn’t unaccounted for. If I recall, they were in one of the buildings and the boyfriend opened the door for the monsters. I believe the ones missing, ran away after the gun shot and that’s who were still missing. I could be wrong though…I can’t remember every detail.
I think Randall is the mole, reason why I think that is because he stopped Elgin on the bus when he realised that they were heading to the tree, he also could of place himself in the bus to speak to the monsters on his own in the night and the fact he isn't scared of the monsters could possibly mean he had communications with them. Randall also sounds a lot like the guy over the radio and the fact that the 2 people who knew about the radio are there Jim and Donna, Randall was very likely to be the one who communicated and is trying to get Donna and Jim dead. He is just very suspicious in general but I don't know, I wish this show would give us more hints so that we could look forward to the next episode instead of frustration and guessing. In the end I think one of two Is going to be the mole either Donna or Randall and it will be up to Jim to see who survives
I think Victor has seen so many things and experienced some really traumatic things that he tried to block them out and has also learned what not to do in order to have survived as long as he has
It may be a diversion with Donna and Randall.I've been leary of those two since Chris Evans hit town. In episode 8, donna is all over the place observing. She probably has a control room down in celler reporting back to the onlookers.
The drone is super light weight. And you have to remember, that the higher it gets, the more weight of the wire it is carrying. It was obvious that it wouldn’t work.
If anything this episode confirmed the Elgin/Fatima theory and it’s not just looks or her clothes. Earlier in the show they made a point of how Fatima is always knitting and this episode has Elgin using that to comfort himself after his dream, as if it’s something from his childhood that helps him cope with fear. Another thing pointing to their connection is Viktor. Elgin has suppressed memories of the town but Viktor has been there long enough that he would have been around when Elgin was young and would remember something like a birth or another child. Makes me think Elgins suppressed memories are not from the past
I do think Elgin has been there before. He told Sarah that he visits his grandmother every weekend (or Sunday) and they knit owls. I’m not sold on the Fatima connection yet but who in the heck knows!
@@daddystu7046 no idea but Viktors mom mentioned going home, maybe she knew how to leave. I’m guessing he will do something to help them out or do something heroic and give them a reason to name child Elgin after him
I hate when I'm so invested in a series that I wait for what seems like a lifetime for the new episode only for it to last a short 45 mins. These episodes are too good to ONLY last 45 mins each darnit!! It also drives me insane that there is ALWAYS a cliffhanger at the end of the episode, like, c'mon, don't do us like that🤣 I just wish the full season would be put out at once because waiting for the next episode seems like waiting for Christmas as a kid LMAO! It seems like it takes forever for the next new episode for it to only last a short period of time🤣🤣
In Season 1 when Fatima took Julie to the lake for the first time, she told her initially, they use to gather and share information. I can’t remember why she said they stopped. When Randall questioned if anyone ever saw the night people kill anyone, why didn’t he speak up? He saw Tom get attacked when they trapped under the house. Why can’t Jim and Randall sit on the bus and watch the creatures. Why do they need to go to the trailer? Randall better watch is back. It looks like Ethan, Boyd, the girl with glass in her eye and Ellis all healed fast. Jim is the only one who hasn’t healed quickly. I wonder if that’s because he’s asking questions.
"Bro they don't even have no more peaches" LMAO. I was also sick of Chris NotEvans basically as soon as he showed up. When he tied up Donna I was raging. Sure I will admit she has been a _little_ suspicious in this episode, but that was probably to help drum up Bootleg Chris's conspiracy theories. She's one of my favs so if he was gonna be responsible for her death I was gonna lose my mind. Somebody else probably said this already, but the weight of the wire connected to the antenna is going to build up as it's lifted off the ground, to the point where the little drone isn't able to lift any more. That only occurred to me cause I watched an episode of Chris Hemsworth training to rope climb and he mentioned that the rope (which he wraps around his feet) causes the weight of the rope to weigh down on him making the climb harder as he gets higher. I just finished bingeing this season, I like this review.
The fact that whatev happens in their dreams becomes reality when they wake brings a whole new perspective on the Boyd's wife theory that it's all just a dream.
So it sounds like Victors sister survived the mass slaying, because she told Victor that their mom went to the lighthouse. - So what happened to his sister afterwards? - Has Victor ever been to the lighthouse? To Randall’s point, we didn’t see Brian (from s2 episode 3) die and his body was never found. What’s the connection between nightmares/dreams and present reality? What is it about water that Elgin is missing in his dreams?
LMAO I love all your nicknames for Discount/Garage Sale/Evil Chris Evans. 😅 You are hilarious. I love all your reactions and they're my favorite out of all the people who've covered this series. You get me cracking up laughing and also make me think with your commentary.
@@Aishwaryaj9425ow you’re going to FORCE people 😂😂😂 having a mandatory meeting every week is a great idea but you can’t force anyone to tell you have to ask does anyone have updates or new things to share that’s how you put pieces to the puzzles together by connecting communicating you up there forcing only will cause confusion and anger
Donnas backstory should be coming soon some other characters haven’t had theirs but I feel like they’ve been stalling hers for this season if she does get written off it would make sense we get a lore drop
You’re so right about following a theory wholeheartedly and when that doesn’t happen you’re ready to give up on the show. I tell people this all the time and they get mad. I fell victim to this with Game of Thrones and it taught me a great lesson. Just enjoy the ride. It’s fun to talk about theories and try to predict things but don’t tie all your hopes to whatever you WANT to happen
Victor has the mind of a traumatised child, he’s spent the largest part of his whole life in that town, he doesn’t know any other way, of course it’s home for him. Even abused children call where they’re are abused, home, if that’s where they’re abused. Don’t hold it against him, he’s a product of circumstance.
8:32 that's what I'm saying! When are they going to come together, come and have a meeting on what they saw, what they've been through. so everybody can make sense about it that's what's frustrating me.
Fatima was not in the episode 8, so maybe that was the demon drowning him, also that song that says "it will never stop until you stop the melody" I believe that has something to do with the dancing ballerina lady, they have to stop her via their dreams, remember Boyd's wife thought this was just a dream. I think Boyd's wife is free from her dream, like Cypher in the Matrix. The reason why the drone wasn't going any higher was due to the electrical magnetic field at the edge of the circle of the loop they're in. As far as Dona and evil chris I believe it's a misunderstanding due to both of them being alpha males and 2 magnets only repelle each other, but in the end they will work together, dona won't be killed she's way too important
I totally agree with u.. the 1st season was was filled with excitement and wonders.. this 2nd season is just dragging on-barely any killings, nothing has been explained. It's like it was a filler season. Atleast they could have given us a whole episode on each character or more on Victor.
@@mallen462 the storyline has run dry and it’s stupid at this point we got bigger fish to fry. Their weird theory obsession is just crazy considering what all they seen and been through.
I think Randall will end up dying at the hand of one of the monsters eventually. He still somehow doubts they actually seem to kill anyone, so I think he'll see firsthand that they actually kill the residents themselves, no mole required.
Randall deserves the side eye. I also think it’s interesting that he is quick to throw shade and point the finger at others. It’s easy to watch him and think he’s a jerk with anger management problems BUT what if was the mole?
Im literally screaming at my TV. I'm actually super annoyed at the Victor plot line. It doesnt seem to be helping move the story along at all. Im annoyed to wait a whole week and still no real answers. Side note: I'm starting to think Donna is Victor's sister. It's a long stretch but she protects him, gives him the canned peaches and seems to be comfortable being in the town as if it's "home". Maybe his sister didn't actually die with his the rest of the towns people.
@@courtneicey15 yea I have a feeling he's not going to make it to season 3. I don't see him as a key player anymore. He hasn't really shared any important knowledge or value to the group. It's like Donna babysits him. I'm starting to think she's his sister.
I feel like for every hint they give they throw 5 more random new things out there that don’t correlate at all with each other. So many questions and I don’t think 2 episodes are gonna be enough to get answers for them.
I have stayed true to what I said before that Boyd and the rest let out when they opened up the monster Smily😊 and now it’s airborne and able to take forms different ways
An important thing to note, if victor is potentially on the autism spectrum or traumatized or a child in an adult's body or anything similar, routine and familiarity mean safety whereas uncertainty and unfamiliarity an be stressing if not terror inducing. We know better, but especially with him having built a deep understanding of how this world works he may be more afraid of the world beyond (especially considering how the world may have changed such as with the internet and such) than he is of this world and everything in it. It may have deadly consequences but at least here he understands what to do and what not to do. As for forgetting your sister... people have closed off much bigger chunks of their memories by pushing them away (don't want to remember) in distress and hiding away anything that brings those memories up (pictures hidden away in the car) for things much less distressing than seeing everyone you care about die then spending who knows how long alone.
The kids must be in that lighthouse that we saw ? Also i never noticed that the boy in white was there when Victor was in the town looking at all the bodies when he was a kid
I have so many theories about this show... 1: what if donna is victor sister and she's keeping him and others there under somebody else orders? 2: what if tabitha is victor sister? I have no idea how but that's one thought that pop in my head lol 3: what if randall is in on it? Or is he just a serial killer psycho? 4: what if (since it's been revealed) the kids in town are the people that's in town right now grown and reason why Randall wants revenge on Donna because (she might be the insider or wish)
We need more questions so we can keep debating this show and looking for more answers! Without that this show isn’t the same. So they can answers our original questions and bring up new ones? Just saying everyone wants answers but what will the show do if we get all of them? END ! So we shouldn’t go looking for all the answers as Victor says!
Everyone said that about Lost, but then the same people botched it in the end and answered next to nothing. Good writing means answering questions with things that create even more questions, not answering nothing. Unless there's a major reveal end of this season, this is giving major meandering Lost-eque "oh they were dead the whole time we don't have to "explain" any thing" vibes.
The show is about Tarot cards and the game between a Witch and a Demon from a lost voyage from 1506, which is the town this is based on. The witch wants to free her children from the demon and gets people to help her (perhaps people that were on the verge of death) and the demon has his people too
The antenna would get heavier and heavier for the drone the higher up it flew. This is because most of the cables running from the battery/radio to the antenna were on the ground. The more cordage that is lifted off the ground the more load there is on the drone. That is my opinion on why that drone couldn't take it any higher.
6:18 remember he said he purchased the drone for his nephews birthday which I’m assuming is a child. So it was probably a toy and not an advance expert kind of drone I think.
I mean...The show can make up it's own story. But that's a Mavic Mini 2 that can fly so high that you have to limit it on your own to fly below 400 feet. It has payload mode that I have used to fly a fake witch around at Halloween. Either way, the guy didn't try very hard to fly it high. He flew it higher when he launched it off the top of the bus, when we first saw it.
Donna is with the BULLSHIT, and you know who else my Spidey senses go off around? "They come for three". Three people saw the music box in their dreams. In addition, Donna was just doing what Boyd asked her to do, the timing does not seem to be odd or in $1 store Chris Evans favor.
If I'm forgetting something, my apologies, but it seems that since Boyd stopped seeing the music box Only three others have, Marielle, Kenny and Elgin We've seen Marielle attempt to steal drugs We've seen Kenny break Sara's ornament But I'm not sure what Elgin would have touched
this episode has me MESSED UPPPPP LIKE I DONT WANNA WAIT ANOTHER WEEK FOR THE NEXT EPISODE LOLLL last time i felt this excited for a new episode of from was when the last episode of season 1 ended haha
I’m guessing they want 3 ppl ( touch, break, steal) that would be Elgin, Kenny and Marielle 🤔. Possibly to replace the 3 ppl that was where Boyd saw Martin now that he’s dead . 🤔🤷🏽♀️
They definitely went out their way to make dona the #1 "mole" suspect. It never crossed our minds and doesn't make sense because she's always 3rd in command behind Father K, Boyd now Kenny (since Boyd arrived)
Did anyone notice the music box foreshadowed at the start Ep1 season 1, the scene started Jim and Tabitha in the car they played music. Also Ep1 season 2, before the bus arrived there's music box played in the diner. Here they come for three unless you stop the melody🤔
notice he said his mom was going to save the children in the tower....ole girl has been seeing dead kids..where those the kids victors mom was trying to save? Are one of the skeletons chained to the wall victors mom? . What if the tower or light house is where boyd caught the worms?
Donna was suspicious because she’s the only one who never hallucinates. I also cannot remember why she showed up at the clinic. Then knowing the body should be burned and no one should know, furious that Boyd didn’t tell anyone about the body, but hiding the voice on the radio from everyone? The only thing that makes me think she’s not an opp is that she complained of a headache and then got hit on the head.
I called that Elgin was sleep…my heart breaks for Victor…Randall Jim and Donna are my possibles for moles. That voice on the phone sounds like the same one from the radio which still sounds like Tom to me. I still think it’s a simulation.
OK....this my NEW theory....based off of the evidence provided...Victors sister is still alive or was alive after the "massacre" in Fromville. I saw the episode over again and he didnt say about her dying because she drew the picture of the light house and told Victor thats where their mother went that night. So this means that she came back after following their mom.
My FAR FETCHED theory is that Donna is "Eloise". She lied about the story of how she got there and perhaps was telling a story of two people that she saw that night of the "massacre". Her name might even be "Donna Eloise Raines".
@@db56 she does protect Viktor, and has him living under her roof, also she had the peaches that he liked. Where did se get those. another thing is, was the place just providing food for them. I remember something of the sort in season 1. But now there is a food shortage.
I don’t believe in the whole mole conspiracy but the Donna sketchiness started a few episodes ago when Ellis got stabbed. She just happened to not be staying at colony house that night and has kept the suspect locked up in the room and going on about her daily routines
You forgot to mention that Donna came out the room just when Boyd's son was going to tell him the prgenancy news .. Donna was just off in this episode 😂
Yeah. But It was so consistent that it must be a red herring. Where she is tracks for the whole ep. She lives in Colony House, so would be there. Boyd asked her to give Sara something to do. She found something. She was already in town, had already said she had a headache, so went to get some aspirin. It tracks. Also, this thing where someone shows up JUST AS someone is going to be forthcoming is a Trope of the show, and of a million other shows.
I see some people haven’t loved season 2 and I’m curious as to why? I feel like this season has been very methodical in not just rushing to get to an answer. The horror elements and the character depth is explored more this season to me. I would like more collaboration between the people of the town and town meetings as well to progress the story, but we also seen through this season that not everybody wants to go home or is truly committed to finding a way home. This season felt like trying to understand what’s in the town. Next season I think they’ll be trying to find out the why’s and what’s beyond the town.
The reasoning is you eventually convolute your story and leave plots hanging when you don’t answer question and then keep introducing questions. It leaves parts of the story out and makes the episodes even longer to try and connect stories which again leaves open plot holes
I feel like it’s gonna be at least another year before we get any real answers out of this show 😂 Every time something is explained, it’s done so in a very vague way that only produces two additional questions
You’re right about theory crafting with these types of shows. I placed all my hopes and dreams into a single theory with Lost that should’ve been accurate, but they yanked the rug right out from under me and I fell flat out on my æšš. 🤦🏽♀️

How Victor forgot he had a “whole sister”😂😂😂😂😂😂 How traumatized can you be to forget your family😂😂
@@Lisa7841..... extremely
Donna didn’t show up out of nowhere. She was honoring her word with Boyd to give Sarah something to do. Our fears will become reality. Jim and Randall are anxious and giving into their fears.
Exactly ❤️
I believe it will cost them because I would feed them to the monster if they sacrifice Donna!!
The show maybe trying to make us sympathise with the nutjobs views.
I hope Donna is OK.
If Randall kills Donna the colony house will hunt Randall. Since Jade didn't become village shooter. Randall might become one.
Poor Victor can't believe people think he is the mole
I'm not surprised or discomforted over Victor calling it his home. His whole family is dead. He has NO ONE outside of that place. That place is his family's resting place.
i think Ethan will be a survivor in the series, and him giving the picture of himself to Victor while being alive could hint that Victor's sister is also alive.
Of course. Fear of the unknown is scarier than monsters you know, and Victor doesn't know the outside world. All he knows is this town, his family rests in town, of course he don't want to leave.
I think he really don't want to leave. He knows no other place
When Randall asked did he ever see someone actually get killed. ? Didn’t Jim see Tom get killed by the monster under the house?
Nope just heard?
Technically he never saw saw it. He heard the death but didn't see the monster come out and kill him. Obviously since he survived the night afterward, he was in the right spot to not be seen either, so if he couldn't see the mosnter then it couldn't see him either.
I think the reason the show has shown us the deaths by the monsters themselves is so that we the audience know that discount Chris Evans is full of shit with his theory.
Jim is being a dumba$$
Yrs. Why did he keep that secret?
Randall also suggested the dead might be in on it. Something which can easily be disproven by examining the carcasses left. They usually leave the faces intact. Just need to touch it to make sure it's human.
Makes sense regarding the role theory. Victor's mom is connected to the children in the tower so is Tabitha with the dusties. Victor had a sister, and we have Julie with Ethan.
Exactly..even victor gave his jacket to ethan. Like passing down the role.
Ethan will be the only one to survive the show 🤯
Another thing to mention, if you go watch somewhere in Season 1 Episode 8 Tabitha is coming up the stairs from the basement and has a vision of a spiral staircase with toys on the steps as she walks up. Has to be the lighthouse and she has to save the children like victors mom attempted to
Them ashy a$$ kids
Reckon Eloise is still alive?
I think Donna is a red herring. I started feeling iffy about her a few episodes ago and it looks like a lot of people are feeling the same way. However! I think the writers are counting on us loosing faith in Donna so it can be revealed in a shocking “twist” that she’s good and she can die in a heroic way. (I just have a feeling she’s not making it to S3. Order will be thrown out if she dies and chaos will reign.) I’m probably completely wrong but that’s how I’m feeling at the moment.
u right
I don't think their is a spy or that Donna is that spy!
My thought is, if there is a mole, my most likely guess would be Donna. However I don't think there is one. I think they have been giving us red herrings, like Tabby wondering if they actually died in the RV crash.
I like your thoughts. Feels right to me. We have had order for two seasons. Season 3 is going to be chaos.
6 - If they leave Donna tied to the tree to "see if she survives" that's what they did at the salem witch trials to innocent women. Randall is evil and crazy. Hate the character, absolute waste of screen time.
I so agree with number 4. Ethan is so cute!
I'm extra ears whenever Victor and Ethan come up on screen. The most important characters in every episode.
Not the ashy kids🤣
I think Randall isn't going to make it in episode 9, he might die instead of Donna
Donna is the mole. She shows up at the right moment and only enters homes when invited in.
Victor didn’t want to go into the house where Ethan’s family is staying. Could that be Victor’s home? And seeing another family in his home is too painful.
That’s exactly what I was thinking because he didn’t want to go inside when he confronted Jade about taking his violin.
That is most definitely Victor’s house….at least that’s what I think too, and in the opening credits there is a yellow house in a drawing with a “swirl” around it???? Could the yellow house be a connection to the lighthouse???
I think he just doesn't want to go in the house that Jim might be in. Their confrontations have not be pleasant.
I was thinking more along the lines of he needs to be invited in …
You are overthinking it.
I totally agree.
2 more episodes left dont wanna rush the big reveal
I couldn’t agree more. It feels like watching season 1 part 2 😂
Victor has been there since he was a child and has gone through a lot of trauma. We don’t even know how long it was with just him before other people arrived. He knows nothing else but this town. So it is home for him.
Exactly 😔 he is like a child In a man's body... He's seen some shit!
Agreed
He wasn't alone. All the people from the car grave yard are DEAD. He betrayed them after making a deal to bring back his mother and sister... and feels guilty as hell.
We have been saying this for a long time though. This is Victor’s home. He does not want to leave. I dont think Donna or Fatima want to leave either!
Only reason I think he feels that way is cause hes been there most of his life, never matured and still feels and acts like the 10 year old boy that arrived there. His entire family died there, so basically that is his home, as sad as that is.
I think the 3 people referenced in the phone call will be: Jade- touches things, Mari-steals, and Kenny- breaks, when he broke Sara’s stuff
@@jaylenwillingham5345
by "they touch" for Julie : I think Julie is liked and appreciated by everyone, especially by Elgin.
They touch- touch you in your dreams
They break- your touch on reality
They steal- your peace
If Randall wants to see what happens at night, he should either stay outside at night or let the monsters on the bus. He should not force Donna or anyone else to stay outside.
it's sad that victor has no interest escaping that place since he doesn't have anything or anyone outside world, he's basically nothing without this place 💔
I agree, a 7... To be honest, they really should have stepped it up it's the 8th episode of the season and we spent the majority not really doing or learning much.
Man this season is trash tbh
@@mauricerush2790 I agree..it's sad because I really want to like the show, but it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere.

lol this is the netflix problem, yall getting spoiled from netflix releasing all EP at once. JESUS CHRIST its a slow burn for some reason. PLUS ITS LITERALLY THE CREATORS OF LOST lol
The fact that there were 3 people chained up and all of a sudden 3 people had dreams seeing the music box, I just feel like there might be a small connection.
Technically 4 if you count Sarah but Sarah just heard the voices.
the phone call mentions 3
S0o does Boyd notcount in that 3...there is Elgin Kenny junky girl and Boyd who have all seen the music box. That makes 4
They'll come for three - said the creepy voice on the disconnected phone.
The higher it goes the more weight because it’s got to hold the device and the additional wiring that was lying on the ground.
If they're actually paying attention to how drones work, it was never going to get all that wire very high off the ground.
I truly think Randal is a mole. I also think Randal made Jim's house fall down. Randal was probably responsible for Tom's death.
Also consider his reaction to Elgin’s premonition on the bus.
@@luvprue1 I think it’s Randall too. He’s pushing it on donna too hard
Look up The Lost Expedition of 1506, it’s American History it’s based on Cabot voyage and Beothuk native Americans (their real symbols look exactly like Tailsman)
that is really interesting theory .. specially ankhooey word i feel it is native language
My prediction: The voice Jim heard on the radio is that of Christopher !!!
Yep me too
who’s christopher

Thank you for watching!
I thought it had to do with Smiley too!!
Why have we not seen any child monsters? I don’t think there are. There were children in the underground tunnels I don’t think they are monsters.
What if the Cicadas’ bite is a catalyst to transform the humans into to the creatures?
Kinda make sense because since the monster died they decided to show up again
That's what I'm thinking. They lost a monster, so now they need to make a new one. Bye bye Kenny.
Are they biting? or ovi-depositing.
@@daddystu7046 yes to both
Nah, its the worms, whoever is coming wants them back.
Things to consider
1) Did anyone notice how foggy it is in the town?
"They touch, they break, they steal".... YOU.
They touch you in your dreams. They break you, figuratively speaking. They steal you, like Martin.
How does boyd not react to Kenny mentioning the music box... wait MUSIC BOX!! What did you say! none of that for real Boyd?
Right. But he maybe he would've mentioned it but Donna showed up
I think Victor has seen so many things and experienced some really traumatic things that he tried to block them out and has also learned what not to do in order to have survived as long as he has
"bro they don't even have no more peaches" 😂😂😂😭😭
The truck that brought the shipment of peaches is in the woods where victor was hiding with everyone a few episodes back ... Peaches are gone 😭
Out of all of Randall's nicknames, janky Chris Evans is my favorite 😂
It may be a diversion with Donna and Randall.I've been leary of those two since Chris Evans hit town. In episode 8, donna is all over the place observing. She probably
has a control room down in celler reporting back to the onlookers.
Yes. Randall told Donna: ''You are a fucking toll both operator''.
''You are a fucking toll booth operator''.
Has it ever occurred to you that Donna is actually the one keeping a lot of them alive....
The drone is super light weight. And you have to remember, that the higher it gets, the more weight of the wire it is carrying. It was obvious that it wouldn’t work.
Tabitha or someone needs to tell Victor that he can live with them lol so he’ll have a reason to leave and help others get out !
*I'm glad Chris "Not" Evans was at the forefront of this episode. So I could hear E-Mann flip his names a thousand times lmao! I love it!* 😂😂😂
If anything this episode confirmed the Elgin/Fatima theory and it’s not just looks or her clothes.
So how did Elgin get out?
🤔🤔🤔
I do think Elgin has been there before.
He told Sarah that he visits his grandmother every weekend (or Sunday) and they knit owls.
I’m not sold on the Fatima connection yet but who in the heck knows!
@@daddystu7046 no idea but Viktors mom mentioned going home, maybe she knew how to leave. I’m guessing he will do something to help them out or do something heroic and give them a reason to name child Elgin after him
Or Elgin is Fatima and Ellis’s kid?
Ethan still walks with a cane tho
@@ambergrislo1070 He uses it because he’s “on a quest”. He doesn’t limp anymore.
Did the worm/larvae hatch into a nightmare bug infestation?
People dreaming of the music box: Marielle, Elgin, and Kenny.
I believe those are the 3 that "They" come for (what the mysterious phone caller said).
It's interesting there's been three of them and the voice said "they" come for three.
What abbout Boyd? He did some dreaming of his own.

The mole is Brian confirmed

Maybe the residents could control their dreams-stop the melody-close the music box & see what happens
6:18 remember he said he purchased the drone for his nephews birthday which I’m assuming is a child. So it was probably a toy and not an advance expert kind of drone I think.
He said it was just a toy but I would not trust anything Randall would say.
SN: There is a whole motel in town that we've never seen before other than the sign and a car flipped over in the empty pool. Just a thought.
True!
Donna was sketchy this episode, man i dont believe in the mole but she acting too weird
Was anyone told about the digging effort?
she isn't the mole. There is no mole. Randal is just gonna get her killed
Donna is with the BULLSHIT, and you know who else my Spidey senses go off around? Kenny's mom Ms.loo. where is she ALWAYS get this food from ANYWAY?, And didn't she hand Jade the book with Vincent's pictures and symbols in it? AAAND she5 always quiet and watching people....... I'm a tell you like I tell my Pitt bulls "waaaaaaaatch em"
@@hanaloa6445 I think he will get the father killed
@@hanaloa6445 I agree but I don’t think they’re gonna die. I think they’ll get free and hide in the rv and realize that the sht ain’t no joke, or Randall might try to go fck with them and get eaten
"They come for three". Three people saw the music box in their dreams. In addition, Donna was just doing what Boyd asked her to do, the timing does not seem to be odd or in $1 store Chris Evans favor.
If I'm forgetting something, my apologies, but it seems that since Boyd stopped seeing the music box
Only three others have, Marielle, Kenny and Elgin
We've seen Marielle attempt to steal drugs
We've seen Kenny break Sara's ornament
But I'm not sure what Elgin would have touched
He touched the knitting basket that he found and he said it keeps him calm
They've all spent time around Boyd. Also, we don't know Boyd has stopped seeing the music box. We just know he didn't see it this episode.
@@guyjperson He hasn't seen it since he killed Smiley
@@Gicrus In show time, that's? A day? And none of the others who've seen it were infected with Martin Worms.
this episode has me MESSED UPPPPP LIKE I DONT WANNA WAIT ANOTHER WEEK FOR THE NEXT EPISODE LOLLL last time i felt this excited for a new episode of from was when the last episode of season 1 ended haha
I’m guessing they want 3 ppl ( touch, break, steal) that would be Elgin, Kenny and Marielle 🤔. Possibly to replace the 3 ppl that was where Boyd saw Martin now that he’s dead . 🤔🤷🏽♀️
Oh I can see that! 🤔
I said the same thing
They definitely went out their way to make dona the #1 "mole" suspect. It never crossed our minds and doesn't make sense because she's always 3rd in command behind Father K, Boyd now Kenny (since Boyd arrived)
Did anyone notice the music box foreshadowed at the start Ep1 season 1, the scene started Jim and Tabitha in the car they played music. Also Ep1 season 2, before the bus arrived there's music box played in the diner.
Here they come for three unless you stop the melody🤔
Interesting
That's an interesting point. We haven't seen the mysterious juke box play very much at the diner this season. Music might be a factor here, somehow.
Poor ol Victor forgot he had a whole ass sister, y'all. I think it's not out of the realm of possibility he forgot a symbol.
notice he said his mom was going to save the children in the tower....ole girl has been seeing dead kids..where those the kids victors mom was trying to save? Are one of the skeletons chained to the wall victors mom? . What if the tower or light house is where boyd caught the worms?
Donna was suspicious because she’s the only one who never hallucinates. I also cannot remember why she showed up at the clinic. Then knowing the body should be burned and no one should know, furious that Boyd didn’t tell anyone about the body, but hiding the voice on the radio from everyone? The only thing that makes me think she’s not an opp is that she complained of a headache and then got hit on the head.
The makup artist does an amazing job on victor's face. Victor looks old pale and emaciated, where scott mccord is quite attractive.
I called that Elgin was sleep…my heart breaks for Victor…Randall Jim and Donna are my possibles for moles. That voice on the phone sounds like the same one from the radio which still sounds like Tom to me. I still think it’s a simulation.
I’m not believing in this mole theory at all
@@derrickmingo3279 okay so what do you believe?
So far it's only people from the clinic that night that are having dreams. 3 of them right.
Ohhh duh. "They come for 3"
OK....this my NEW theory....based off of the evidence provided...Victors sister is still alive or was alive after the "massacre" in Fromville.
@@db56 Dammmm good theory 👏👏👏
Maybe she was one of those skeletons chained up near the old man in the tower
@@db56 she does protect Viktor, and has him living under her roof, also she had the peaches that he liked. Where did se get those. another thing is, was the place just providing food for them. I remember something of the sort in season 1. But now there is a food shortage.
@@sabrinaromera9459 he also didnt say his mother died if Im not mistaken...one of the skeletons could be her.
Eman, idk where you are, but that lighting is it. You need to have that lighting in every one of your videos. Melanin is poppin!
8:52 no he said than I won’t accept your coat not “I won’t be your friend”
I love it: “Discount Chris Evans! “
Donna is a great character and actress. She calls people out and beats up a lot of people. She’s funny as hell
"Dollar store Chris Evans'" 😂😂😂 those jokes never get old🤣
Do you think the monsters was just the first phase now that they are finding answers the town trying to intensify the creepy shit to make them scared
Yea remember Martin said The monsters are the tip of the spear there's much more dangerous things out there
@@bevinallard5492 so it’s a cycle! When the town died it wasn’t by the monsters
I feel like it’s gonna be at least another year before we get any real answers out of this show 😂
Every time something is explained, it’s done so in a very vague way that only produces two additional questions
I literally iust said this to my folks who also watches. For every 1 answer to get 5 more questions
You’re right about theory crafting with these types of shows. I placed all my hopes and dreams into a single theory with Lost that should’ve been accurate, but they yanked the rug right out from under me and I fell flat out on my æšš. 🤦🏽♀️
