When my sister was gone on her honeymoon we convinced my Dad to let us into her condo. I bought 1,200 baloons and my boyfriend brought an air compressor. We were able to fill their bedroom high enough to cover their bed. 😂 My brother-in-law got no sleep that first night! The heat would go on and the baloons would get blown into the air where some would hit items in the bedroom and pop. 😂

I live in a 1998 mobile home and I had to replace my heat pump and it cost me $7000. 2024 was very costly because I had to repair my sewage system to include having my septic tank pumped and new pipes laid. That and the heat pump replacement put a dent in my savings. I hope 2025 will be better and Happy New Years to the Denman household. God bless.
I have a fake tree that I have on the front porch that stays decorated all year. The Christmas decor stays up until my hubby starts with "You know Christmas is over right?" Then I change the decor to spring. Last year, I made an Easter egg garland by snapping plastic eggs onto a long string of floss

I’m 74 and don’t have a primary care. My dr. Left and they assigned me to a dr in Muskegon which is probably 30 miles away. I didn’t have enough wrong with me so he wouldn’t take me. I was trying to get back to the place I have gone my whole life and I can’t . Why they send the older generation to Muskegon is beyond me. I’m still trying to find a Dr.
My good thing is I’m going to be a Great Auntie again! Found out on Christmas Eve that my niece is pregnant again! And my nephew will be a First time dad in July! I’ll I don’t have kids but I’m so blessed to have such wonderful nieces and nephews in my life! I’m so excited for both of them!
I’m having the same issue in FL with my AC. It needs the coolant. The report company that got mine going again said they don’t carry the “old coolant/R whatever” & said it’s now hard to find & will soon be illegal. Going to get juiced up with that and see hobbling it lasts until I can get a new one. They finance them down here too. My current & second new AC is from 2005. 😱 the 1st one only lasted from 1997 to 2005. Houses are like money pits lol! Next on the brink here is our well/pump & septic drain field.

I pay for a home warranty because I didn't know how to fix things. But my AC that I've had since 1993. No problems with it at all until it went out. Warranty installed a new one. So for so good. But yeah I've had my dishwasher stove fridge replaced through them. Thank God

At flee markets, they often have the live wood slabs. We have Canton and HWY 42 here. The pieces are a pretty penny but beautiful. My bro is a HVAC guy, the old better stuff is being phased out. The new stuff will be all u can get soon. He said stock up if u have an old unit. My grandpa always called losing all your gear on the slop a garage sale. As kids we had a few, haha.
Not only am I an equestrian, I'm a fish expert. Mostly Salt Water, but I loved my fresh water percostomous and goldfish. I kept having to buy larger and larger tanks for my cheap fresh water fish. They ended up huge and lived for many, many years lol.
You should check out Jason at Coghill Farms has an above ground tornado shelter in his garage. Its pretty small but its bolted to the concrete floor to keep it from blowing away. Something to think about. I love the River Table, btw!
Our boiler has been out of service for 3 weeks now. The furnace guy is stumped so he called another furnace guy. It took him awhile to figure out what was wrong. But we still don't have heat. Waiting on parts.
Here is a cell phone story that would never happen today. Quite a few years ago, my husband dropped his Nokia flip phone down an ice fishing hole (it fell out of his shirt pocket) into about 8 feet of water. 3 days later, he cut a square in the ice with a chain saw and retrieved the phone with a net. We put the phone in a bowl of rice for about 3 days. The phone worked for about another 6 months, and then the speaker no longer worked.
Next table you make like that take a rubber mallet and tap the underside of the table to get the bubbles out. If you have something that vibrates that you can sit under the mold it would work even better.
Regarding the Christmas decorations, its a regional thing. In Chicago we waited until Jan 6th. In Georgia, they believe its bad luck to not have them down by Jan 1st

Friends of mine, their adult kids gave their parents great gifts. Every time they visited the parents over the past year, they would take something little. Christmas Day they gave them a big bag of those things individually wrapped. Friend had kind of noticed things disappearing, but couldn't work it out. The video I saw of them opening those 'gifts'...it was hilarious! 😅

Last year I took Christmas down on Christmas, this year I'm dragging it out, till after New years, so much work!! Jami's seasonings sound pretty funny! In nebraska an ac is 5k or less installed. Just got 1 last yr.
