How would you handle it?

VLOG 25. Mrs UglyTent is sick, how would you handle this during a Bug Out scenerio? Just something to think about. Thanks again for keeping up with the VLOG.

Hope she feels better soon, I had something hit my gut one night last week hit around 3 AM and woke me up, I was crazy in pain until 6 AM when I finally got to sleep.
There's a lot of variables and possibilities that face us each and every day indeed and being prepared mentally and physically to face them can definitely be a challenge

Hope your wife is feeling better! Some great points and another thing to consider is to ensure all members of your group have basic skills and training especially when it come to medical and first aid. What would happen if the only one with all the skills and knowledge is the one who is ill or incapacitated?

Oh man if I was out in the wilderness, sheesh I can already hear me praying 🙏🏻 beggin’ to feel better but the whole time giving myself a pep talk to keep doing all I can for me or someone else. And first and foremost STAY CALM to think clear as possible for a solution if possible 😉🤷🏼‍♀️

The last couple of times I have been sick, I'm fairly certain it was food poisoning and when it hit me, it was sudden and without warning. I had violent vomiting for about 12hrs straight to the point where I couldn't do anything for myself and couldn't keep a single thing down. During that 12hr time period, I got to thinking about what the best route would be if it had hit me while in the backcountry. I didn't really come up with a solid plan as the only way I was going to stand a chance of it stopping was with time and/or an iv with Phenergan. Guess I'd ride it out and hope I was with one of ya'll 🤷‍♂️
