Exploring the Process of Almond and Olive Oil Production | La Coronella Farm | FS 22 | Timelapse #33

Welcome back to the La Coronella Farm Timelapse. To begin with, our operations encompass the realm of cargo transportation, encompassing the sale of finished products and the transportation of raw materials to our production facilities. Our orchards are teeming with ripe almonds and olives, which serve as the sources for our oil production endeavors. Consequently, we have made significant investments in acquiring new production facilities, including one dedicated to extracting oil from almonds, and two geared towards olive oil production.
Our almond cultivation entails the management of two distinct almond varieties. For the first variety, we have procured specialized equipment designed to shake the fruit from the trees. This equipment is integrated into our DEUTZ-FAHR 7250 TTV HD tractor, which features a front loader. The almonds gathered are loaded into a compact trailer, in collaboration with a Mercedes-Benz Unimog. To transport the harvested almonds to the processing facilities, we employ a larger-capacity trailer that can be attached to a truck.
Once the almonds from the trees are successfully collected, we transition to another orchard where almonds grow on bushes. In this scenario, we have engaged a rented New Holland combine for the harvesting process. Subsequently, we proceed to the next orchard where our olive trees bear ripe fruit. Here, too, we make use of a rented combine harvester to gather the olives.
The gathered olives are then transported to our initial facility, where they undergo a thorough cleaning process. After the cleansing stage, the peeled olives are transported to the oil extraction plant. Furthermore, we ensure the provision of water to kickstart the production process at this facility.
