They didn't go into it, but the Dream Stone overpowers anything Eggman has. It's stated in game to contain "100,000 dreams." Dreams in the context of Mario are entire universes, potentially infinite in scale. Bare minimum, it would be able to overpower anything that isn't 100,000x universal, and could highball to being infinite in power. Across the Sonic games and IDW comics, which is where they pulled for Eggman's info, the chaos emeralds never show that level of reality warping. Plus, he didn't even have to wish it out of existence, the Dream Stone can make any dream come true, so he could just use it to turn Eggman's entire army against him. Eggman's only win con is denying Bowser parts of his arsenal.
Also Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that every Mario is the same Mario mainly because all the games reference the previous ones including Paper Mario because Paper Mario is a form.

Death Battle has already explained this multiple times in the past yada yada, etc. etc. Second off, you clearly didn't pay attention to the fact that they weren't able to include EVERYTHING Bowser and Eggman have access to in their army for the fight animation. Hence, the alternate scenarios in the post-analysis. Remember that the fight was being animated by basically one guy. Making him animate EVERY minion these guys have had over the years would be a ridiculous undertaking. Which is why only the important stuff was a priority for the analysis and animation, like the Metal Virus, Super Neo Metal Sonic, Sage, The Phantom Ruby, the Time Eater, Egg Wizard, and the Nightmare Mode for Eggman and the Grand Stars, the Dream Stone, the Pure Hearts, the Star Rod, and Kamek for Bowser. Ok mecha sonic being compared to super sonic is wild considering even at its super state knuckles in base form pieced him up. I wanted eggman to win and I have many reasons to argue but saying eggman was dumb in this battle was insane. Also the phantom ruby has multiple variations of it. The triangle one on infinites body, the weirdly shaped one, and another one used to power another death egg robot in sonic forces. And saying NEO METAL SONIC is equal to SONIC is ACTUAL INSANITY. And kamek vs sage is such a dumb idea 😅. Sage can control the egg robots but kamek can just take that power away or even just summon blocks as a barrier and shoots magic blasts.
