10.400RPM Opel Kadett C || Hayabusa Head+Diesel CDTi Engine Block
Вставка
- Опубліковано 25 лют 2020
- Stefan Faulhaber drives this very quick Opel Kadett CQP model tuned by Minichberger on the German Berg-Cup Series, being one of the fastest 1600cc Class Cars. Powered by a 1600cc Engine using Suzuki Hayabusa head and a Opel Meriva CDT-i Diesel block (!!!), it produces a very impressive 255Hp/10.400Rpm to move only 780Kg with this power being transferred to the Rear Wheels through a 6 speed Sequential Gearbox.
It can be seen here attacking St. Anton Hillclimb in one of the most impressive performances of this screaming machine last year. On 2020 this little Monster will be shared by Stefan Faulhaber and Patrick Orth, who is giving his BMW E30 (previously featured on our Channel) a year of rest. - Авто та транспорт
The build tho! Takes a motorcycle head, puts on a diesel block.... And makes a badass petrol engine
Yes but how?
@@raybobuzz 🤷♂️ a welder and some wishes?
Make sence..:):)
And a lot of magic, or only a miracle....
@@raybobuzz Yes but why* lmao
That really makes a fantastic noise! I had a Vauxhall Combo with a cdti in it that revved to over 10,000 rpm once...
I drive an old Primera now!
😂😂😂😂well done Mate
Larenz Tate Doesn’t mean you can not force it to rev higher.
turbo runaway ??
@Larenz Tate diesel engines dont have a limiter
Crazy ass engineers and their crazy ass engines
Patrick Smith couldnt have said it better myself
Minichberger Motorsport ;)
"What do you drive?"
"Nothing special, just a diesel Opel" ; )
SUPRAMIKE it’s not diesel
@@Jay9z i know that, it was a joke.
@@Jay9z
How dare you assume that the car doesn't identify as a diesel?? 🦄🌈
"I drive a hayabusa."
-"But, but thats an Opel?"
"Indeed."
**EuRoBeAt InTeNsIfIeS**
its not a diesel and its not a bike.,forget the bullsht yor saying
Engineering level: German
Die Jungs von der Opelgang wieder alle abgehängt😎👍
It's flying up that hill. Great work on that engine. 👍
Sau geil, altes C Coupe. 😍
What a lovely machine. Sounds beautiful and crisp..
Wow... that is some clever enginering! Well done!!
Never heard of a build like that. Sounds insane
Awesome piece of kit 👍👍👍👍👍👍🏁
Like the engine build combo very impressive.
More strange than impressive:)
Wow great video✌️ Love these numbers, similar power output as in 70s world rally cars god i wish WRC would go n/a again!
Now that would be a good idea... Quite melodic too ;)
Such a classic beauty!
A what on a .... WHAT??
Crazy build !
Legende im Einsatz, absolut geil!
Thank you for your videos
Amazing engine!
Einer der schönsten von Opel.....geiles Teil...💪👌
Well it’s the coolest Holden Gemini for the Australian’s I have ever seen or heard!
Hayabusa cylinder head and Opel CDTi diesel block, that takes the meaning of Frankenstein motor to a whole new level 🤯. Seems to work and really rip, but who thought it would be a good idea and then worked through all the engineering to make it happen?
I have made those engines, and ima not an engineer. Engineer know nothing, unless a factory ask some engineers to make an engine, even so, they need the help of mechanics, cause in the paper is something in reala life isa bit differretn
Top Auto alles richtig gemacht 👍🏻hätte meinen GTE behalten sollen bereue es immer wieder 😢
Awesome 💪👍nice sound.
Crazy engine build.
what a crazy build! Would love to see details!
It's amazing that you can fit different engine head with diesel engine block. And make the rpm higher too.
Years ago people put bmw 16v motorbike heads on old pre 1999 minis to make a fast version
This engine revs higher because it's a petrol engine, not a diesel. ; )
@@Module79L petrolheads dont know that
really? so whay dont you try to do it? kekekekekeke
great sound
Awesome!
Kadett C : Cool looking cars
Awesome little car these..my mate had one with a turbo rotary.. definitely a fun car to drive.. Gemini in Australia Holden not Opel
wonderful car i like it
such a quick car🙏
It's ridiculous!
I want one, NOW!
Awesome machine!!! My Astra diesel runs out of oomph at less than half the revs of this monster!!!!!
Of course it does, this is a petrol engine. ;D
Hillclimb community gets better and better. Its just shame its limited to asphalt it would be great to see some awd monsters on snow or gravel
OK, I'm just going to watch this again...
Completely bonkers. Thumbs up 👍🏻
Wow bellissima 🔝👍
I wish they had this version of the kadett in dirt rally 2.0
Die Kunst, dieses Geschoss permanent am Limit zu bewegen - man(n) könnte fast neidisch werden, aber eben nur fast.😂
255Hp from a 1.6 NA is pretty crazy :)
I think there was a prototype engine that was an NA 2L V16 with 400hp. IIRC, it was 4×0'6L I4 motorcycle blocks welded together and destroked to meet the 2L displacement. If my memory works, they put it once in a Peugeot 205 body
Edit: to add, they were 4 CBR600's. Here's where I got the info from (it's the first car on the list): ua-cam.com/video/zJF9p9kH5LU/v-deo.html
@@chelarestelar That's pretty wild to. I love Frankenstein engiens like that ;)
Epic car
Holy bananas
Is turbo how much bar compreesed? Or n/a
always love the kadetts! shame we didnt really get them in the uk, nearest we got was the shuvit! (chevette) is there any specific reason why hes used a diesel block?
Measurements are the main reason here. Goal was to have a 1.6L NA engine as powerful as possible using a Hayabusa engine head. The CDTi block aligns prett much perfectly while keeping everything legal. And yes, the higher compression ratio also help ;)
@@HillClimbMonsters thanks for the info! So cool 😎
@@HillClimbMonsters Holy shit, so it's like a plug and play setup? Lol.
@@HillClimbMonsters ,
@X X they are stronger but they are also quite a bit heavier as there made from cast iron generally..
Awesome!! Really how on earth there could be chance that a dieselblock and Hayabushead could make a fit
its not an diesel block and a haybusa,
is aprts from diferent places cutted tranfromed and put togetther...
Really sports allways good
Super like 😀👍
Head and block plug and play?
Vroooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeen vrooooeeeeen vroeeeeeeen vroooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeen vroooen vrooeeen vroooen
Vrem vreem vreeeeem (braking)
It's vroom not vroen
Einen Dieselblock als Rennmotor Basis ist nix neues. Aber das ein Hayabusa Kopf auf den 1300ccm Block passt, darauf muss man erstmal kommen. Respekt!!!
badasss !!!!!!
Total Krank! Aber Geil, nur 2 Sekunden bis grinsen!
Can we look the enjin
I think that is ready for the F1 Championship
Die Optik. der Sound...unschlagbar das Ding
Mobb Shit!! This is Perfection!!! 🙏
Would like to see that "engine" in real life ! How did they put an Hayabusa head on a diesel block in the first place?
With love that’s how... welding
thye didnt.
It took the great Japanese designed hayabusa head to make this car really go.....
How much is this engine swap? Can't go wrong with motorcycle heads
😍😍😍
Love the old school Opel but the rpm range was already done in the 80’s with pushrod engines
i wonder what they do with the glow plugs? or the rest of the whole engine
its just the block its pretty much just a lump of metal, all the gubbins like glowplugs etc are in the head which has been replaced
Removed:)
I want one
Who is that genius ??? More details?
So.... anything but Opel. Nice.
Das ist ein klang. Versuch das mal mit Turbo u. Co hin zu bekommen.
❤️🔥♥️❤️🔥
1:25 😳
Is petrol or diesel ?
Von dem hab ich nach seinem crash in eichenbühl die felgensterne gesammelt😂😂
💯👌
in a few years someone is going to make a V8 block from two four pots and put two motobike heads ontop, thats my predicition
Radical already does this with hayabusa head and custom block but based on hayabusa. 500hp
@@MrKristyon lol, cool
Frankenstein monster
OPEL fahr'n is wie wennze fliegst!!!
vor allem im kadettchen.... schön war die zeit ... und heute hüpft greta umher und versaut mir meine hobbys.. how dare you
Classic rallye car
Diesel don't usually rev past 4k. Very interested how this setup stayed balanced at that rpm. Would expect more damage to cylinder walls from the heavy rotating assembly. Custom rotating assembly?
But they run petrol not diesel.
@@michaelleth7874 that does not change the weight and design of the engine components.
@@mastermnd22 l know. A good guess would be that they use the block and crank from a diesel. I remember from the 80s that on opel 1600ccm it was just the head and pistongs separated diesel and petrolengine
@@mastermnd22 Its only the Diesel Engineblock. Crankshaft, Rods, Pistons, ..... Everything is custom made.
Look at many of the other Berg Cup Cars in Germany. They just have to use an original Engineblock. Nearly everything else is free.
@@martinfriedrich2617 That makes sense. Excellent combination of parts. The block must be strong. Very cool stuff.
How in the world does one combine a Busa head with a Diesel block? Damn...
Proper planning, research and measurements ligning up properly between head and block ;)
Bore spacing, my dude. Bore spacing :) everything else can be machined away or filled in
der Hayabusakopf ist für 1300ccm gebaut, der Opel-Block hat 1600. Irgendwie mag ich der Sache nicht ganz glauben.Ventilsteuerung; Hub, Schmierung
und und und
is there any details about this engine somwhere?
Not much as there is quite a bit of secrecy around the full build. Butyou can search for Minichberger Motorsport, the very company behind all the enigne tuning ;)
C Coupe hab ich auch noch stehen!
Leistung von den Opel??????
Scheinbar "nur" 255 PS.
Also kaum stärker als in Dirt Rally 2.0
@@marvinlinnarz5856
255 ps im c kadett reichen
@@timbuktu5885 also wer selbst Rallye fahren will aber das geld dafür nicht hat sollte aufjedenfall besagtes Spiel mal ausprobieren 😉
How is this even real haha
Diesel block?
How?
A diesel block is like a petrol block, metal with holes for pistons and holes for oil and water
👏👏👏🔊🔊👍👌🇳🇴
How 🤔
I've a 1.3 cdti Corsa, anyone have an Hayabusa head? :P
@Maimo Moline read the video description
Wait Diesel engine block?:)
Seems legit in petrol car...
Next: Diesel car with petrol engine block and with supercharcher:)
Tony Valdez good luck getting enough compression. Idk if they had a custom crank for this build.
Why exactly is it exciting to see they built the race engine out of a diesel block? 😀 most race car builder legends in our shitty little town do the same.. I thought everyone does it like they do xD
Diesel JTD block :D CDTi engines is a Italian JTD :D
1.6 liter Cdti engine not Italian.
1.9 cdti is a Fiat/Alfa engine, but the 1.7 cdti is a Isuzu engine as far as I know.
I race at Talladega short track back in late 80s early 90 turned my basically stock Opel 10000 had reground stock cam 1.9 30 over several races it seem to like it ran better at high rps. I forgot I did remove the solex carb and put a Holley 350 on it. The Holley 500 is better but track teck at Sayre speedway didn’t like it. If your not cheating your not racing.
They were made to run better at hight sppeds., where you get more juice... its a linear engine,,noadays they dont do that
I'd like to meet the person who built the motor.
You have to search for Minichberger Motorsport. In fact the same person who tuned the engine, also races another Monster we have featured on the Channel »» ua-cam.com/video/Lv1UnjIDI2A/v-deo.html
Just ram a 1300cc Hayabusa motor into a early 80s Toyota Starlet and be done with it! This is how we do it in NZ (New Zealand)
