you can still have a basement without foundation. But I red some rules and some say you need a foundation because the ground is contaminated but you can put your first floor under ground. just make the basement your shack, like a fallout bunker. you only need a ladder to get out. since you have that first day to get necessities out of the way. I don't see why you couldn't buy the spiral staircase that first day. cause these houses are starting before contamination sets in. that's what I thought
That's cool. I meant in general. it doesn't make sense that in a post apocalyptic situation people wouldn't have spiral staircases. that's not a technology, it's carpentry. I also tried playing without the showers and my sim didn't take sponge baths. if that is a slob thing, not cool. I don't want to have to make my sims slobs before that is unlocked. also instead of foundation you can build house on columns.
Yeah that's a bit of a pain. You /can/ get them to wash their hands and brush their teeth though and that will help their hygiene a little.
'That's dark man.' -Favorite part.
next time you start this make a house without a foundation. That should save you a lot of money. cause then you don't need a porch stairs also.
IIRC that's only if you're doing that isolation bonus challenge. Day 1 is different to the rest of it anyhow.
I really love this world. I've been looking for a Sims 3 Apocalypse themed world that looked similar to the game Fallout: New Vegas (which is a post Apocalypse themed game) This world looks similar. :D Thanks for posting this. I would have never found it. :)
It's called "Rattlesnake Ridge" and you can find it on the exchange on the sims 3 website. There are some routing issues though.
That is a rather good idea. I think I was thinking I needed a basement for something perfectly normal not at all like stashing and/or playing with corpses. HEH HEHEH.
The spiral staircase comes with Generations, which I didn't have when I started this.
You are allowed to get a job before the heir is born.
Yeah, the garden items are all on other lots.
Hi Amber ! I have started to follow you 2019-05-27 and i see trolls in comment section down below so anyway ignore them… u sounds normal to me when i listen to you
Yeah that's because when I started the challenge, I had defaults for the aging process. Something a bit weird happens with that later on in the series though. IIRC I technically didn't lose any days at all.
Well, in retrospect I wasn't actually /supposed/ to hand pick her traits, they're supposed to be randomized, but either the slob or inappropriate traits mean your sim will take sponge baths.
Ugh wat got on my nerve was u was worried bout a wall for the bathroom instead of food.... like its not like somebodii gonna come to ur house....
You're not allowed to take a taxi either
I thought you couldn't get a job until the first generation(the founder's first child) becomes a young adult..
I HATE how your sim is sometimes aged a couple days at the very start.
where did you get this map?
Yeah, sorry about that. I had a few issues with audio early on. Should be good with a new headset and all the bells and whistles now though.
You sound stoned
she is maybe allergic or have some cold that day of year-12
Please speak louder. I can hardly hear you.
