My favorite part is ending with the Aurora starter and flight suit.
Gotta give the credit to matching armor for each ship, takes the feeling of different paths on a whole another level

And the icing on the cake was the Aurora MR, though the undersuit should've been the Odyssey II Alpha instead of the white Beacon. The Odyssey is what you get the first time you load into SC, while the beacon is the suit you get in local inventory when you die and respawn at a medical bed.

@@shabavideos No worries, it happens. I really wish they'd be consistent between the noob suit and the one they give you when you die.
the name led me to believe that you would be showing different career paths, but it's still a good trailer. It's just missing the core game mechanics
Tbh pretty mindblowing how impressive SC looks, this looks like cinematic trailers like those from cutscene yet its all just in-game footage with no graphic enhancers or stuff like that

A truly fantastic video. Perfect camera movements ideally tailored to the music. The idea of matching the colors of the spacesuits to the respective ships was brilliant. I get goosebumps every time I watch the video. Especially the end symbolizes the potential and infinite possibilities as a character in this game better than any CIG promotional clip. Thank you for that, I really hope for more.
Very nice shots. It is hard nowadays to find such quality in SC videos. But damn, I will use this as inspiration. The use of DOF was really top notch. It is also an awesome way to get new players to know their possibilities ingame for the first time. o7

That was a very cool video!! The scenes were so beautiful and I loved the matching suites with the ships! It was a great trailer but I do have 1 critique. The title "choose your path" led me to think you would be showing mining, salvage, pirating, bunkers, JT, medical, and exploring. Still what an accomplishment and you should be proud of this awesome well made trailer.

In my honest opinion, the cinematography was the best part about this. You're very good at that. However, I'd say that the editing, the narrative, and the static nature of some of the shots left a bit to be desired.
Adding in some sort of narrative for the video for help you find the proper direction when it comes to editing. It kind of felt like the driving force of the length was strictly the length of the song. Also, adding in some more dynamic character movement via emotes & trackIR/Tobii, or even a camera for FOIP would go a long way.

@@shabavideos so firstly I just want to say it may sound like I'm being critical but it's just because I think you have a lot of potential; and these are just my opinions.
I'll start by saying the second half was way more exciting and interesting, which I think largely comes down to how the song builds. The editing was more cohesive and I got more of the narrative you were going for, but I think at least in the first half, the shots were largely just not dynamic enough.
It's an interesting song and I think the eerieness in the beginning provides for a good intro, but I feel like the shots didn't quite pull me in like I know some locations in Stanton can get me excited every time I see them in game. As for the second half, there were some REALLY good shots and editing. I genuinely loved that. There are a few shots I'd have done differently but that whole part was awesome and the video overall was a huge step beyond your first one :)

You made the single most common error in such works, spending too much time lovingly gazing at the environment and assets you spent so much time and effort on. Yes, they are beautiful but they don't tell the damned *story*. They are the background to the story.
First of all, thank you for your comment and criticism/advice. The video is definitely too long, as shown in the analysis. The whole point of the video and the title "choose your path" happens in the last 30 seconds of the video where various ships and armors are shown (although not in action), which seems to be a big mistake on my part because many people didn't even see it. Beginner's mistake :) I hope you'll like my next video, which should be finished soon.
