    Hi Joyce, beautiful work. Do you seal your fabric earrings, I noticed when I do it shows the bulkiness of the fabric underneath.

      Good morning June how are you know you can do this one or two ways if you are using cardboard my suggestion would be to paint the cardboard a dark color whatever fabric you use to put on the cardboard even if it’s a bright color it won’t show you can use some mod podge is a water resistant sealant so that means that if those earrings get wet they won’t get messed up mod podge is an awesome sealant to use I hope this information helps happy crafting and thank you so much for watching I greatly appreciate all of your support have a wonderful day queen

    First of all, I love your work and how you teach. I have a question. Should you seal the cardboard earrings? Will water damage them or does the fusible web help.

    • @lajoytracreationsjoycemctierla
      @lajoytracreationsjoycemctierla  5 років тому

      Frances Hollomon You can use a sealant for those earrings. Just do a test on the fabric using the sealant just in case you decide to use that sealant on the earrings you’ll know how they’ll look once the sealant dries. Thanks for watching.

    this is lovely please wish to ask if is washable if gets dirty?

    • @lajoytracreationsjoycemctierla
      @lajoytracreationsjoycemctierla  5 років тому

      Good Morning I would put some type of sealant on the fabric so that it won't get dirty use a light coat of Mod Podge that will seal it and give it a gloss look and it will also keep it from getting dirty. Thank you so much for watching have a great day.

    Oh my goodness Ms. Joyce...you creativity never ceases to amaze me. You are very talented and very creative. May the Lord keep blessing you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. Numbers 6: 24-26
    In Jesus name.

    Please Queen, since it is fabric , it will get dirty over time, can it then be washed? If yes, will the earrings get damaged since it is made out of cardboard?Please reply. Thank you.

    • @lajoytracreationsjoycemctierla
      @lajoytracreationsjoycemctierla  2 роки тому +1

      Hello Anita yes what you can do with those earrings you can use some mod podge sealant you want to apply that to the fabric once you create the earrings the mod podge sealant will seal the fabric and even if They get wet it will not destroy the cardboard. I hope this information helps thank you so very much for your inquiry and have a wonderful day happy crafting queen
