I am in the same boat as you now as a senior! Enjoyed Disneyland for many many years but last trip I noticed a huge slow down on my part. But it's still nice to take it at a slower pace at my age because there are so many adorable things you miss when you are focusing only on rides. It's still great, just takes a bit more time to cruise through!

Holiday version in freaking JULY? That's going to make it the holiday version for a full half of the year! Not a fan of the Nightmare version at all, and wish they would have the original version more often and limit holiday version to the actual holidays (Oct to Dec ONLY!)

Just love your commentaries and all the great info you share! Thanks so much for doing that and especially in the hot weather. I got very nostalgic for the Golden Horse Shoe theater remembering the act of Bill Hill and the Hillbillies! Don't know if you ever caught the act or not. But it was a great place to sit down, cool off, get a snack and laugh your head off. Shame on Disneyland for letting them go. Do you know if they do shows on that stage anymore?

I wish they would have but more construction labor towards Tiana's instead of HM. It would make more sense to have that open first for the hot months instead of opening it just in time for the weather to cool off.
The problems with HM were becoming dangerous. When New Orleans Square has a fire alarm, the entire area becomes a crowd control problem.
Katie, your dress is lovely! I don't know why DLand doesn't install some type of misters throughout the park, and/or some shade cloth for guests to be under while they wait in those interminably long lines like for Peter Pan.
