Solid work! Man I wish I could sit down and pick your brain. I spend hours between sims, guides, logs, looking up other hunters and so on. I don’t know if I’m just in a “spot” with gear or I’m just butchering my rotation. I hit but definitely not those numbers.
@mikestrickland1123 Thanks, mate! You know, DR really starts to shine with a crazy amount of haste and those trinkets. I just try to keep things as clean and simple as I can. I don't have text warnings on my screen from DBM for example and rely on those vocal queues and memory instead.
He has a really nice video that you can use to copy his UI. It runs really smoothly because it's not weak aura based. Setting up the shadowed unit frames is the most tedious part.

Have you noticed your dire beast pulling mobs in range without be engaged? Soon as I clear a pack dire beast will attack the next mob within range without me engaging and I have reported this to Blizz but they don't seem to care.

I don't even know to be honest. It's largely cosmetic and I really don't care 😅 The only thing that matters is that you use a Ferocity pet if you are providing Lust for your group and a Tenacity pet in all other situations for the improved Health Pool and small defensive!

For the love of everything holy, I don't know what is proccing frenzy for him. I'm pressing what he presses on a dummy and nothing is making it pop buff uptime. Does anyone know if this is a talent?
Yeah pretty much mate. Just still trying to direct people to the correct DR build since I still receive a lot of questions on what hero build and talents etc. Bursting shot feels so largely situational. I use it to help clear this weeks affix but for the most part my interrupts revolve around counter-shot, intimidation and implosive shot. I also pug 90% of my keys so it's more of a just do something scenario as opposed to organised keys with comms 😅
@@Roxxelana Yeah largely situational. Clearing this weeks affix if it hasn't been done already but our interrupt tool kit is pretty decent without using it for the most part.
@@TreesOnTheBeach Sorry! I meant to say Implosive Trap. No, Explosive shot is just trash and there is never a good time to use it. The points saved from Explosive Shot and Blackrock munitions are much better spent going into Trailblazer and then Emergency Salv 🙂

My friends wanted me to switch to Ele Shaman for keys. I said trust and now that I'm geared and using your build I top damage every time we play lol. Meta slaves don't understand that the best players in the world do crazy numbers with more complicated specs beause they are just that good but mastering a more simple class and spec is actually the better play for 99% of the WOW population. Thanks for all the content Saltii 🙂
Speaking the truth! I think that a lot of players follow "the meta" and then become discouraged when they can't replicate the top 1% I say pick a class and a spec and unless it's just literally in the toilet stick with it through thick and thin and you will become a beast mode player that outperforms the meta chasers.
@@Saltii You can't do anything if you are not invited to groups. The current M+ system discourages PUG play and punishes out-of-meta specs. My guess is that's why so many players became meta slaves and sweaty tryhards. And my main, for example, has been in the toilet for years now. But I stick with it nonetheless. However, no invites, even for +8. Such a sad state of things. This entire system is a complete and utter dogsh*t. No reason to play or push unless you have a group of friends or friendly guild. Good guide anyway.
I'm glad to see a Bm doing so well but i feel like Dark Ranger feels so sloppy for BM . The rotation is always so clunky with the black arrow procs , i just feel like it doesn't fit to the BM playstile. I wish they buffed Pack cuz that would be more suitable for the spec.
I actually agree, I prefer the "old style" of BM gameplay that Pack Leader offers but DR just pumps so hard that it's hard to play PL right now. As much Haste as you can possibly muster makes a huge difference though!
Nice! Yeah for sure, it's just such a pumper spec now playing DR with the right trinkets and a whole stack of Haste + Crit gear. I'll play BM forever, good or bad. Everyone is different but it is the most fun spec to play in the game in my opinion 🙂
if I had to guess, I would say the insane amount of haste gear I have is a contributing factor 🙂 Also, two of the boss fights in this dungeon have Cleave potential which may be falsely inflating my ST numbers slightly 🤔

Organised group with comms and an interrupt rotaton, careful use of defensives and an absolute god-tier healer! lol easier said than done, I know but BM is still timing 15's + 16's etc. I've had an unusually busy few months but I am going to start pushing soon so I'll let you know 😅
Some slight variations but yes, largely unchanged. I still receive a lot of questions about what hero spec and talents to use so I am continuing to direct people towards the build since it is still technically the new build or latest atleast 🙂
Trinkets and Call of the Wild timing are the biggest factors. if a boss is about to die in the next 30 seconds and I know there is a big trash pull coming up next I'll save COTW and burn that pack 🔥

What addon is that aoe warning stuff? DBM? Is that a plugin or an option or what exactly ? My DBM does not warn like that at all but it is awesome.

Also, I'm amazed that 2 points in trigger Finger is better then 1 point in Explosive Shot and only 1 in Trigger finger.

Looks like only a couple of talents changed from your old build. How did you work Bursting Shot into your new rotation?
I would assume he didn't, Bursting Shot is more of an occasional knock back/snare/interrupt ability.

I just prefer my flamingo honestly and the spirit beast buff is not super amazing
