Best thing you ever did buy getting that Rover. Best 2 ton vehicle out there. Happy trails. I have the 2012. Mint. best I've ever had. No regrets. Peace.
such nice cars. I wish you had started it in the video to hear the motor. it's clean for $5k so you should daily drive it until the timing chain guides play the death rattle tune.
Thank you for sharing your purchase of a great SUV. Driving the Land Rovers have been very nice. Your year if this one is very nice. My best friend has the 2007 LR3. And yes, I have driven his Land Rover many times to work with him relaxing in the right seat. My best has ski racks attached in top. But I do like the top heights of his. Furthermore, I have always let him know that when looking for a new home with his racks on top to please be safe with parking in new garages. Many older homes and condo building garages many not be as tall or wide enough to park his Land Rover. Finally, my best friend has done several highway trips over the last several years. His LR3 has gone on camping trips a couple of times but he really likes highways trips. He has taken his LR3 out to the east coast many times. Well, beside your city driving please take your Land Rover on both camping and highways trips to see what you like the most.😊 Continued success with your great purchase.😊
Thanks for watching and sharing your and your best friend's LR3 story! You are totally correct with the height, just yesterday while in a parking garage I had to be very careful with the clearance as I was driving through! 😁 Overall, it's a fantastic car to drive and I do hope to explore more of it's capabilities on road trips and off road as well!
@@cullenburns5733 Hey, thanks for watching and commenting! You do have a point when comparing all model years of LR3 and LR4, however 2013 is one of the ideal model years to get in the LR4 because of resolved timing chain tensioner issue and last year of 5.0L V8 before engine switch. But fair point.
Nicee!! I heard the plastic coolant bits can go bad and also kill the engine.

Timing chain issues?
@@Spartansrule118 No Timing chain issues. 120kmi. mint. Change the oil(5-40) every 3k or 6 months.
@@carlthetruthwilliams9447 you have the 5.0?
Thanks for watching! It really is a fantastic vehicle, glad you're also enjoying your 2012 LR4! Appreciate the comment.

Fantastic vehicle, keep it!
Thank you! I'm really enjoying it so far.
Hey! Thanks!
Great score! I must have missed this on the video but how many miles are on it?
It had around 178,000 miles on it when I picked it up, thanks for watching!
That hitch alone is worth 10% of what you paid
Is that so? Very interesting
❤
Bro LR3 are reliable but not LR4
I have a 2013 LR4 since new. 112,000 miles. Did normal maintenance (No major issues Yet).I still love it.

@@pworker8124 that's amazing!! Hope you get many more trouble free, safe, and enjoyable miles out it!
I have both the 3 and 4. Choose your poison, bad electronics on the 3 or cross-pipe and perhaps maybe not this one, the chain guides. 😉
@@nm69427 which one gives you more of a headache
You stole it at that price. They are great trucks and the LR 3 and 4 v8s are the best land rovers.
