The first week I was in Cuba, Angel Gonzalez. took me to meet this lady singer who was really popular there. I didn't even know who she was. He name was Beatriz Marquez, and she asked Angel to play bongos on the following Sat. The gig was at Pizza Nova a small Italian restaurant close to where I was staying.
