What a cop out! How dare you label me a racist because I called out your favourite for her on court tantrums. For the record I like and respect Venus W. as she was also great in her prime but displays proper on-court manners. I play a lot of tennis and know what is appropriate on the court. Somehow your Serena has convinced herself that she is "a champion" for the cause of all women, women of colour, working mothers etc. and she is just a very good tennis player and has nothing in common with those marginalized folks who truly do get a raw deal. I mean come on, unlike them she is RICH and priviledged!!!!! There, I've ranted because what your remark implied was unjust and uncalled for.
@@jeffreyhughmiller3911 My real point is we have to call out all who behave this way, and not just Serena. When you want to have a discussion on behavior in tennis, name NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE as having model behavior; and name ALL as acting in the way you so quickly described the greatest female player to ever pick up a racket, Serena Williams. Because there are white players, who are WORSE.
@TeeKoooo That's why I called her unremarkable. They call her a giant slayer in her introduction, for winning over an aging giant post 3 surgeries. Andreescu just ain't all that! Who said that?
....and a major collapse by tennis' new 'it' girl wonder. Andreescu was supposed to be so remarkable after defeating an aging Serena. Not so remarkable after all. Just as we thought. All hype.
she still has time! always has had the weapons (massive forehand and great serve). Honestly she is grand slam potential in my opinion if there was more consistency.
I just hope 2020 will be her year. She's so talented maybe more talented than the current gs winner right now. She's really determine to attack next season. Finger cross🤞
@@JordanjamesX I never said she was young. plenty of women players have been peaking at an older age the past few years. Kerber, Wozniacki, Li Na a few years back. It's a trend that has happened to a large percentage of the ladies. I feel like Goerges has plenty of good tennis left. maybe 2-3 more years
I think she needs to improve her fitness, and to lose maybe 4 or 5 pounds, she seems a little heavy, the extra weight makes to get tired in ralllies and third sets, she runs out of gas.
How many times has Goerges beat Serena? Answer?.........Never. So it's not Bianca's skills that gave Serena problems, it's Serena's age.. Like all the others that came before Bianca like Kerber, Barty, Osaka etc., they are just average winners.......there is nothing special about either of them. On top one day, in the dog house the next day .
Seems like Bianca is not physically fit in general preventing her from consistently being the best. She often physically fades in latter sets. You can see her in this match literally crumple in the middle of extended rallies. She also seems to cramp up often even though it was only 3 sets. At the same time, kudos to Goerges for her physical and mental strength. As much as I enjoy ladies tennis, (get ready - here's something controversial, heheh) there is no way ladies should be entitled to equal purse in tennis prizes as men. Here are indisputable facts: 1) Men can take the tennis level to the highest, i.e snot nosed college boys can wipe out #1 woman player any day. 2) Men actually work harder as they are subject to best of 5 sets. Case closed. Wait - case can be made for equal pay for women if they are gorgeous to watch, heheheh.

Love seing how that title meant to Julia. 😭
What* not how
Julia is great and so beautiful
Andreescu becoming a one hit wonder. There will never be another like Serena in her prime. Champion. Consistent.
Great player Serena yes, but sadly lacking in sportsmanship for sure.
One hit!? have you been sleeping under a rock? Indian Wells, Canada Open, US open, WTA finals appearance HELLO.

Goerges hits with so much power
Julia's very emotional. great comeback win.
Julia GORGEOUS 😍
That was a great comeback, Julia. 'Powerful' win.
...and a major collapse by the so-called girl wonder. All hype. Not consistent. Couldn't beat Serena in her prime. Just as we thought.
Omg that was incredible! What a fighter!
I wanted Bianca to win she needed the second set.
I don't know if she just ran low on energy.
There are momentum swings in tennis, but that was crazy.

and who is the blondie in Bibi's corner? go GORGEOUS!!!! love her. love both but love HER.

Julia Görges has such an enormous talent, if she had managed to improve the mental side she could've achieved so much more

I notice she starts to run out of gas in third sets Bianca 🤪
I have a slight feeling that Bianca's year got better... 😂
Julia amazing!!!
Julia is just super!

Andreescu's coach is pretty

Exactly. Came here to say the person editing this video for WTA does also. Ha.
