I was on Methadone for 12 years. 30 years ago this very day I walked off the Methadone clinic. I have a great personal experience of the restoration of the God of Jacob. The name of Jesus is forever praised in my life!!!
I was and addict for over 20 years. I tried to quit many, many times and yes; I went trough withdrawals many time. When I came to the end of myself and ask Jesus to help me forgive those that had hurt or wronged me AND to help me surrender. My life slowly changed for the better. I first learned to fear not and trust Him; then, I Lear to wait on Him. Then, I learned He is sovereign and all of His plans for me are good( Jeremiah 29:11). He has restored me beyond anything I could imagine. When you don’t know what to do next. Sit, be still, pray, read scripture and Praise HIm.
@@yovanyfrias807 It took 15 days of withdrawal to get off methadone. I’m not exaggerating, I didn’t sleep for 2 1/2 months. My brain was so heavy medicated for so long it forgot how to sleep on its own. But Jesus Christ is Lord, there is nothing He can’t deliver you from!
I’m tempted and I know the consequences, yet I may not succeed in resisting. Only God can save me. Hide me away in a safe place oh Lord far from the sight of evil, fill me with your wonder and wisdom so that you God hold my focus above all else. Please don’t let me sin, God I’m so weak and foolish, please rescue me. Be a close mentor unto me oh Lord. Please don’t let me astray, hold me close God, make me clean please 😢

YHWH , His Holy Spirit and Yeshua is not silent He and HE with The Holy Ghost is present when we think, behave and speak of goodness and HE is there when our thoughts , our speech and actions are that of evil. Our Saviour is there when we, sinners, stand at the foot of the cross asking forgiveness for the iniquities , transgressions, evil that men do . Whatever we do wherever we are we are given grace , compassion and mercy: in all we do we are always in waiting and we don’t know it that our hearts holds the hurt we have done to YHWH, HIS Son, The Holy One, and at this point our sixth sense known as our conscience is activated at the same time. The Holy Spirit speaks in silence as no we ignore Him, this is the unforgivable sin, not accepting the only truth the only way the only life Who is to be acknowledged but we fail. We must not suppress The Holy Ghost, it is unpardonable to refuse repentance of our sins and failure to accept The Son
