"Chinese Taipei" is a weird pro-Chinese imperialist nickname that mainly sports organisations use. Heck, even China itself calls Taiwan Taiwan, they just insist on it being called Chinese Taipei during sports tournaments to make a statement about how they think it belongs to them.
