Gary Chester's New Breed Book is the go to for ambidexterity.
I totally agree! Great book! I may feature it on my Drumbook Studies video series
Such a simple but great approach. Thank you!
My pleasure!
Great as always, Marco!
Thanks Neil!
Again, some fine work there
Thanks once again!
Where can we get the book
Good idea. Love the color of you kit.
Thanks Billy! Pink Sparkle Champagne
Thanks for this awesome idea. My left hand definitely needs some more action.
Glad the video resonated with you. We put so much mileage on one hand over the other. Amazing how much stronger the weaker hand feels when you use it to play the hats on drumbeats.
You are freakin amazing. You are truly the dest teacher out there. I like Drumeo but you are a better teacher.
I wish I knew your name so I can address you by it. Thank you so much! I am glad the videos are helping. Cheers!

And how much?
Dont Stop Believin by Journey uses a left hand lead on the hi hat and right hand on the toms.
Oh, I did not know that I will try that next time I play that tune. Thanks!
It just occurred to me that , in baseball, a naturally right handed batter that wants to become a competent switch hitter, batting left handed as well as he bats right handed, has to spend way more hours focusing and practicing on his weaker left handed swing / hand to eye coordination to realize that goal. Much like your lesson here Marco.
Yes Billy, that makes sense!
Marco.. Have we ever met ... are you in Toronto?
Yes Mario, I live in the GTA
So You must Know Vito Rezza?
@@MonacoRocha Yes, I do. But its been a long time since I have seen him
It doesn’t have anything to do with our limbs, it’s our Brain, if your right handed you are right brained. Your left hand will always be weaker. Just practice a lot, your non dominant hand will get better, but never as good.🥁✌️
Yes, I agree that weak hand will always be weaker than strong hand, but developing the weak hand to it's potential will balance out your overall drumming. The idea is to put some much needed mileage into the weak hand so that when you play, your weak hand feels better, stronger and does not hinder you as much.
I actually notice that my left has a finer technique that I wish my right has. I think because it's played in mostly as single position its whole life. What I really would like us to get the brute strength of my right into my left and the subtlety of my left into my right.
@@WholeLottaDrumming Absolutely True and absolutely important to become almost ambidextrous. Just subscribed to your channel. Been playing drums for a while. Very good content man 👍
