Can I just say? You are so precious! The way you take special care in leaving things as you found them makes me so happy! I love how relaxing your channel is. I love to watch before I sleep at night. Thanks for being wonderful
I really enjoy these foraging/cook up videos. I love seeing the different species you find. I think another thing that makes them fun to watch is how much you and Sam seem to enjoy yourselves. Even on rainy days or when you've been sore you still have a huge smile.
I laughed when you said 'going grocery shopping'! Such a good video! Perfect weather, beautiful blue skies and the calming sound of the ocean. You are so blessed to be surrounded by such beauty! ♥️
I love your channel, it's so educational and soothing to watch. I've been stuck in the hospital on and off for a few months and binging your videos helps keep my mind off of the pain and everything happening. Please keep doing what you're doing, you guys are great!
Where you and Sam live looks absolutely lovely. Your videos are very interesting and informative! Greetings from another island, Long Island, New York.
I love watching your video's. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge about the sea life! Keep up the good work. Peace and love from Sunny San Diego California
Love your grocery store! Next time put the lemon halves in after getting the juice out. Softened lemons are really tasty especially when cooked in the garlic salt water. What a beautiful site to eat your oysters! You have a good eye for catching great nature shots! Thank you guys for another awesome video!
Again a very informative video, you certainly starting to know the flora & fauna that surrounds you. Was thinking if you collected some more Sea Beet, shredding it finely, frying it, would you end up with crispy seaweed and I think it would taste awesome.
I really love that you guys are enjoying the views and each others' company rather than having your noses in your phones while you wait for the oysters to get done! Thanks for sharing these excursions!
I did a little foraging today with my daughter. We found oysters, a big sea snail and a bunch of little crabs under rocks. I live in St. Petersburg, Florida. I really wanted to get some of the oysters but I didn’t know if they’re safe to eat. I need to do some more research.
Found this info for you. According to several sources I read including this, as long as you fully cook the oysters, they are safe to eat. DO NOT EAT THEM RAW patch.com/florida/bloomingdale/warning-don-t-eat-the-raw-oysters
Yes get those Greens in. Glad to hear you will be adding more Greens. Sam, the cool man with the cool shades, finding all the cool stuff. Nice Oysters .
Hell yeah the boys are back👍🏻 good to see you guys enjoying yourselves again down on the beach, very informative about all the creatures and plants your forage around in , cheers from down under👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍺🍺🇦🇺
Hi jay, brilliant video and your knowledge of your sea life is fantastic to see,you have so much amazing sea life, great to see no plastic on your beaches and a clean environment, keep the vids coming, tight lines 👍🎣🐟🐟.
Love how people say oysters are for the rich and posh. Yet can be free and abundant if you look in the right place. Brilliant vid wish I lived closer to the coast.
I love sea beet, the texture and the taste. I pick the smaller leaves and their stems and just blanche them. It's wicked with freshly cooked pasta,a touch of garlic and some strips of crispy bacon. A great source of free vitamins. You always make me laugh with your cook ups- You cant ever wait for it to cool down before munching it pmsl. Keep em coming dude! ;-)
Hey, I’m loving your videos!! I don’t actually like seafood - but you still make my mouth water!! It’s a food I’d love to love!! Lol. So glad I’ve found your channel, it is so interesting - I’m hooked!! (Pun totally intended). 😊
I learned on another video if you leave the empty Orster shells on the rocky beach where you got them it will help build up an orster bed. Some places you have to shuck them where you find them for that reason
There was an organisation, and I'm not making this up, called, "The Woodstock and District, Rod, Gun, Oysters, Black Velvet and Mantovani Appreciation Circle". I was their Fishing Secretary, and I booked the fishing trips. Membership was quite select. We had about three social functions a year at member's homes, and we always ate our oysters raw.
I've never seen anyone cook oysters before watching your channel! I always have them fresh out the shell, do not like them like that? Mmm with Tabasco 😋
Very knowledgeable about the sea life out there! But that wasn’t a cannon my friend! I don’t think Sam would have been strong enough to lift it up one handed! Ha
Do y'all still have merch somewhere we can purchase?? I've decided I need some merch in my life so I can call it my do-it-all shirt. It's gonna be like my hidden mojo... you know you get in a bind... maybe moochin around the wrong sorts.... just put on that smash fishing merch baby!! Hell yea!! Going to build your first crab pot and need some motivation and persistence...?!... smash fishing merch shirt baby!! Hell yea!! Lol ha ha
Hey I’m from Canada I love watching your show I’m hooked. So maybe when you’re eating you could get closer up on the oyster so we can see how big they are it’s hard to see from the distance the camera is away from you. 🤷♀️👌

Yes, rolling the lemon first makes the juice come out easier, but if you cut it lengthwise it yields much more juice, try it Jay.
