  • Take a look at some of the remaining WW2 tanks, vehicles, and big guns on display in Normandy.
We bring you close ups of some of the rarest tanks of the Second World War including one of the last Tiger I tanks in the world on public disply, plus a German Panther, Pioneer halftrack, Panzer IV, and a huge 'Famo' truck inside an amazing museum.
You can also see several examples of the infamous 88mm Flak gun, as well as original anti-tank weapons still inside bunkers - just as they were 80 years ago on D-Day.
At the Longues-sur-Mer batterie we give you a close up view of the largest naval guns remaining in Normandy - ones which traded blows with Allied ships on D-Day.

Another excellent video I am old enough to remember buying the After The Battle magazine in the 80s that featured the Tiger tank on its front cover
In those days I visited Normandy several times so your videos bring back such good memories thank you

My father spent all of 1944 in France, Begium & Germany with 383 FA Bdn. If one of my buddies had blond hair my dad would call him Kraut.
