NEFL Eagles ~ OOPS! Little N31 wonders what just happened! Jan 25, 2025

Mom's on the branch. Dad is hungry so he's eating. Little N31 is just taking everything in. At TS 5:35:37 as the Eaglet watches Dad it gets a gentle uppercut whack from Dad's tail. N31 makes a great recovery and gets back on its feet quickly. The expression on N31 as it looks around is priceless. Mom will come in and give N31 a nice feeding and tuck it in for the evening!

That was a body slam with dad's tail lol! And yeah he did look at the camera like "did you see that"?! 🤣 So cute! I can't waitt to see the egg hatch!

Sorry but that other egg is not going to hatch. It is either infertile or the chick never developed to the point of hatch. The hatch window for Eagle eggs is about 34-40 days after it was laid. They just don't hatch after that hatch window time frame closes.
