ECG strain and sweating was the main clue that MI might occur or it may not occur. He should have proactively got into the car with Puneeth to perform CPR thinking “what if something happens.” And he should have gone to nearest hospital where a defibrillator could have been used before further assessment and treatment. You never leave a patient to themselves with abnormal ecg at least for few hours, this is no matter how fit they are and how normally their vitals shows. He is not good at making critical decisions. If his clinic had an AED machine then he should have kept Puneeth in the clinic and asked his staff to call an ambulance. He should kept sudden cardiac arrest in mind in this situation. And if he was so close to the family knowing there is family history of cardiac issues, he should have monitored Puneeth’s vigorous workout routines and openly advised him to work out moderately, to go for regular ecg, stress test and CT scan. These things would have revealed any underlying cardiac issues. He should have had a heart to heart talk with Puneeth that age, body weight and other factors can have impact on the heart and moderation in everything takes priority as we age. If he had done the above no blame on the doc.

There are few points which may effected him that day . 1: yest night Puneeth slept late by 1am. 2: Think he worked 1hr gym, so unexpected strain happened in heart 3: if he got ambulance travel frm clinic to Vikram hosp, it would have been better to him So totaly it's bad luck for him that day 😔
Any basic junior doctor would have done CPR and kept him in the clinic and called for a well equipped ambulance and shifted him or on call a team of doctors would have guided . It's very very clear puneeth sir could have been saved had his PHYSICIAN has done atleast basic CPR and called for a ambulance . No comments on this .

ನಾನು doctor ಅಲ್ಲ engineer, ಆದರೆ, ನಾನು certified for first aid. In such cases, it's important for the patient to be in a situation with maximum available care. If Appu was there waiting in the clinic for the ambulance, and then if he had an asystolic condition, CPR could have been given at the clinic or inside the ambulance. As a society its a failure. We all let down our dear ಅಣ್ಣಾವ್ರು and did not save his son 😥

Moral of this sad story is if anybody with issues related to heart and lungs, rush to your nearest specialty hospital rather than to clinics..bcoz these organs don't give you enough time..
CPR must have been done in clinic or shifted to Ramiah with a trained nurse who knew CPR definitely he would have been saved even if he collapsed on the way …

This person seems to be outdated and doesn't know the basics of first aid. If he sees abnormalities he suggested to go to hospital without giving basic treatment. Agreed with other comments. We won't get to see well balanced person like Puneet. We lost him because of this doctor ignorance.
The doctor negligence can be really understood here. This doctor could have started immediate heart message or use defibrillator. He just ignored it because appu was young and ignored the symptoms. He would have probably survived if he gone to super specialty hospital directly. I am not a doctor but what doctor should have done is accompany appu and start immediately CPR and use defibrillator . That was the only way. Doctor just sent him to next hospital in his own car knowing he is going through cardiac arrest. Old doctor out of practice, appu shouldn't have gone to this doctor who is capable only for headache and fever.

U can call cardiac specialist in ur hospital to treat him faster....or u can give him CPR or shock treatment if Punit goes into unconscious...it's a very common treatment for d cardiac arrest... I took my dad in 20 minutes to Manipal hospital they gave him one 5 k injection that's all by morning they did angioplasty . Puneeth sir should have done every year medical check up . He should have gone directly to Vikram hospital . Really sad thing that Puneeth sir is no more with us . God give strength to Ashwini mam and kids .

ECG strain and sweating was the main clue that MI might occur or it may not occur. He should have proactively got into the car with Puneeth to perform CPR thinking “what if something happens.” And he should have gone to nearest hospital where a defibrillator could have been used before further assessment and treatment. You never leave a patient to themselves with abnormal ecg at least for few hours, this is no matter how fit they are and how normally their vitals shows. He is not good at making critical decisions. If his clinic had an AED machine then he should have kept Puneeth in the clinic and asked his staff to call an ambulance. He should kept sudden cardiac arrest in mind in this situation.
And if he was so close to the family knowing there is family history of cardiac issues, he should have monitored Puneeth’s vigorous workout routines and openly advised him to work out moderately, to go for regular ecg, stress test and CT scan. These things would have revealed any underlying cardiac issues. He should have had a heart to heart talk with Puneeth that age, body weight and other factors can have impact on the heart and moderation in everything takes priority as we age.
If he had done the above no blame on the doc.

The doctor negligence can be really understood here. This doctor could have started immediate heart message or use defibrillator. He just ignored it because appu was young and ignored the symptoms. He would have probably survived if he gone to super specialty hospital directly.
I am not a doctor but what doctor should have done is accompany appu and start immediately CPR and use defibrillator . That was the only way. Doctor just sent him to next hospital in his own car knowing he is going through cardiac arrest. I took my dad in 20 minutes to Manipal hospital they gave him one 5 k injection that's all by morning they did angioplasty . Puneeth sir should have done every year medical check up .
