Trailhead parking is at the Bow Lake lot, approximately 2.5 hours from Calgary. Travel the TransCanada Highway to Lake Louise. Then continue north on the two-lane Highway 93. Watch for signs indicating the turn-off to Bow Lake and Num-ti-jah Lodge.
The trail starts at the Bow Lake parking lot by Num-Ti-Jah lodge. Its roughly a 20km return hike but the going is very straightforward and no major obstacles will be in your way. The challenging part is getting up onto the CHOCKSTONE, it's a bit of a stretch to get up onto it.
Once past the boulder continue on the trail to Bow Hut.
Stunning views from the top! Snowy conditions for the last couple kilometres.
