Nah I'm here cus my reading log is due tmw about this book but I didint even start reading it so i was trying to find an audio book and this guy saved me from my 6th period teacher
I'm taking care of my family during the quarentine right now. To be able to clean and get my reading done for school at the same time was super helpful, thank you.
my 4th grade teacher read this to us years ago. i kept the book and always thought of it. I can’t find my collection of childhood books but all i’ve been thinking about is finding this book again. as a jewish person this book spoke volumes and as i grew older it meant more and more. thank u ❤️
I remember our teacher reading this to us as well. The part that always stuck with me was when she held the Star of David in her hand so tightly. I found that my children didn't even know this book existed and I was on a search to find it when I came across this.
Thank you so much I need to finish this book by tomorrow and I have 5 other papers to do because I’ve been sick all week thanks this saved me so much time
I am reading this book for Battle of the Books, and I need to have it done by 2:00 pm tomorrow, and this is helping soooooo much! Thank you for what you do!
Thank you for this Lois. We used your reading in my class for the first three weeks and your voice was very captivating to my students and one of the best parts of their day. Thanks again!
thank you soooo much I have an English test today on this book and you reading this book for 3 hours straight means a lot and your reading is very passionate thank you!
I remember when my class read this book for one of our class read aloud & discussion assignments (the class would go around taking turns reading small sections of the book as a group and everyone would take personal notes then once we finished a book everyone would have a deadline for when we had to finish filling out a book summary sheet and then have a discussion about book) And while I don’t really remember more than one or two things about the book due to having trouble in school because of what I now know was untreated/ undiagnosed adhd I vividly remember loving the book and that it really spoke to me and stuck with me so a couple years later I’m here to revisit the book finally having medication for my adhd and now that I can actually comprehend stuff i have a chance to fully appreciate it
i would like to say, my teacher used your read aloud for class when we were reading it in class. i loved the book, you made me love it. it was aweseome, i also got the book and wanted to read it in my free time. not in class, at home. i honestly loved it and thank you so much for this read aloud!
I love this book! Its a beautiful story and it is also pretty sad. I listen to the entire book while laying in bed or on a couch. Thank you for reading it!
Same here. I had no idea who the Nazis were, what a concentration camp was or anything like. This was my introduction to the Holocaust. I remember that we had read this in class and the swastika was mentioned. Our teacher told us how it was horrible symbol that should never be drawn. In the after school program, I told another teacher that what I had learned that, but asked what the swastika looked like, since it was never shown to us. So she scribbled the symbol on a piece of paper for me. That was the first I saw the swastika. She explained to me that it used to be symbol of peace but the symbol was taken and bastardized. On the way to school (since my school did have buses) I had a talk with my mom about the Holocaust and she told me about the gas chambers. I remember asking her, “Why didn’t they fight back?” To which she replied that they didn’t know they were going to a gas chamber and even if they did, they were too weak to fight back. I still didn’t understand though
I ordered this book online for my 8-year-old book worm daughter, but I can't wait to know what this book was about. Then I googled and found this ! I will let her listen and watch your presentation! You did so great !
I just finished reading this book to my 11 year old son. I remember reading it when I was in the 6th grade. I was in tears at the end. I forgot that Peter died. It is such a good book.
Thank you so much for this! I needed to read this book for book clubs in class but didn't really understand it... Thank you again for reading this amazing story!
Thank you for the wonderful reading. I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. I hope this book and your reading can make me a little bit better as a human being.
This was one of my absolute favorite books growing up! I couldn't even grasp the intensity of it all but, there are still so many scenes that linger in my mind.
Thanks for the read Jordan. You live on the other side of the pond but you have proper British English accent.I can even say you sound Bristolian or Bathonian.
Remzi Load64 thanks for the support mate! I’m actually American, just had a little impediment growing up, but it’s no big deal hahaha. Glad you liked my video though!

I love this book it’s super good and I’m only eleven I’m a great reader I guess it took a month to read it But then I lost the book and wanted to hear it a few more times

You read really well. Your style is entertaining, capturing, passionate. I only wish you would have added the timing for each chapter to start. It’s almost impossible to listen to it at once, so sections by chapters would be great. Thanks
This is so wonderful that you read to us all so well, with such great expression and feeling! I've loved this story! You seemed to, also. Have you read the Conspiracy of Decency? Such bravery for my heart to be brave and sacrificial, too!
Well, this was also heavy for a Kid's book; hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did!
