Bollocks, I stayed up late at night, as a lad, listening to these stories on my 7 transistor radio, earphone, and fancied myself as Doctor Watson, on another adventure. Pure magic those pocket sized radios.
Ooh I say! You have a better copy of this story than I've previously been able to come across! And you have all the plays! Thank you so very much for sharing them. While I personally think the BBC productions starring Clive Merrison and Michael Williams are the definitive Holmes radio cannon, I like these productions very much. First because John Gielgud was my first Sherlock Holmes, I got four stories on a cassette as a birthday present and that began a beautiful friendship with my friends Holmes and Watson. Secondly I definitely think these Towers productions were the best of their era, beating the American radio version in every aspect but longevity. It is such a shame that only these few stories were adapted by this team. On the other hand, you could certainly argue they picked the cream. Thank you once again.
What a wonderful find! I’ve loved these stories since my childhood. Thank you. 👏
The basis for a relaxing night's sleep. The voices are so smoothing, and stories are so well remembered. Thanks for sharing these memorable stories .

A+ adaptation. The Sherlock characterization and actor are perfect. And a fantastic Watson.
Your channel is a treasure.
3 years later and I’m still listening to this playlist.
Their wonderful voices are Music to my ears! Thank you, for sharing.
