this is truly amazing! ever since I was small I have had a huge passion for performing arts, I was actually born in Australia, but moved to England when I was 5 years old, but we moved back to Australia for me to have an education here and once I graduate, apply for WAAPA! its always been my dream university. I love this video, you have such a stunning voice and your acting skills are utterly brilliant! congrats on getting into WAAPA

Emily! Thank you for sharing a little bit of your story and passion for the arts, along with your kind words to me that I deeply appreciate. WAAPA didn't end up being for me but I hope that when you get in (because I hope you will), it will be a phenomenal experience for yourself. I wish you all the best and maybe one day we may cross paths here in Australia...never know ;)

Hi there! Thank you so much for your kind words 🙏🙏 I sung as a child and did my best to develop an ‘ear for music’ - essentially, I could tell if I was not singing in the right key, or if my pitch was too high or low, and if my tone was warm or not. This is an incredibly important skill to develop as a musician. I learnt guitar from a young age and that also helped me develop an ear for music! I recommend picking up piano. I got the confidence to perform and the more I sang the better I got really. Find a good teacher on technique and practice as much as you can and really listen to music to understand the sounds you are hearing and try to produce them yourself. All the best 🙏🙏
