Sarah Carey .. I am so grateful to you!!! You are a great teacher.. clear and fun and inspiring !!! Thank you
Yum. I love your recipes, and you are a delight!
This looks delicious; thanks, Sarah!
So, I just made this for the family Sunday lunch. Followed the instructions, but made 50% more. extremely popular, even the eldest's girl friend had about three slices. Feel that artichokes might go well on top, or eggplant, especially the japanese kind. So delicious, many thanks for this!
made it and everyone loved it; thanks for that wonderful recipe
Thank you! Can't wait to make this!
I'm in love with your recipe😍😍😍
Definitely, I will make this recipe. Thanks Sarah ⭐.
Looks wonderful and a must try.
Excellent, very easy to fallow. Thank you
Really nice recipe for a different lasagna 👍🏻
Omg that looks so good going to try...
I love this lady... Great ideas
Omg I just made this and it is delicious 😋.
We made this last night ,easy and DELICIOUS ! !
This looks delicious! Can't wait to try it this weekend :D
I would've layered the zucchini just like the spinach...it looks delicious!
This lasagne looks absolutely delicious! Love creamed spinach so it has to be good. I would probably also add mushrooms as well. Definitely will give this a try. Thanks Sarah!💕
Robin Cassidy RN you’re right I tried a similar recipe with mushroom it’s much better.
I did add Mushrooms
Love you Sarah!! 💖
Looks so yummy! It’s hard to believe that spinach is 90% water until you cook it! Research has found that sautéed spinach retains a good nutritional value & that squeezing out the excess water isn’t detrimental. You’ll lose some amount of water soluble vitamins like Vitamin C, but the remaining density of the green still retains a healthy vitamin count because it wasn’t boiled away during cooking. It’s a win/win recipe. Thanks so much for sharing!
Genius tip for using the ricer. Would work great for shredded potatoes for latkes. Thanks, Sarah!
I made this, it was so good
GREAT THAT YOU USE THE POTATO RICER!! GREAT TIP FOR DRAINING THE SPINACH!! THANK YOU!!
Super
Sarah did it again!
This receipe delecious
Thanks 🙏
This is my go-to summer lasagna! I like to add roasted bell peppers (red, orange, yellow) to offset the green of the spinach....
Sometimes I REALLY want a big project like Bolognese or Lasagna and this Spinach Lasagna has a lot of great tips and ingredients to consider.
That's how I always make my lazagna for years so goid
looks so good and healthy at the same time.
omg looks soooo good now im hungry lol
This was an interesting lasagna recipe that Sarah made in this video.
I am not a very good cook. Got a phone call while I was cooking the onions and accidentally made the bechemel sauce with the onions instead of cooking the spinach with them.
Oh well- it tasted great- almost just like Stouffers (please don’t take offense- I love Stouffers)
I made sticks out of the zucchini and added carrots as well then roasted in the over for final veggie layer.
It was delish.
I didn't know there were no boil noodles... Thanks Sarah!!
In high school our football team would always get together the day before a game and have dinner together. We had parents that would make food for us. One mother every week made us a vegetable lasagna. None of us were vegetarians but that was the most popular dish at the table.
Please, try adding COLD (straight out of the fridge) milk into your hot roux while making bechamel - it never lumps up (and I've tried), and it's soooo easy - perfect, for everyday cooking :)
Full of it.
can the bechamel sauce be made with soy or almond milk?
what’s the stove top you use?
That humming drives me crazy.
That loud humming in video like in the last one Thomas did, other than that, great recipe! :)
Since this is a professional kitchen there are all sorts of normal noises from the equipment like vent hoods over the stoves, refrigerators, ice machines etc. I once worked in a place that had a massive steam jacketed kettle and when too much steam triggered the safety valve it sounded like a woman shrieking! It scared a lot of people that didn't know what it was. That was hilarious at the time.
My pasta machine usually doesn't have a good dry out. .. do you think de humidifier makes dry pasta too.
Can I use frozen spinach?
A potato ricer is also great for draining cans of tuna, a tip.I heard recently
Looks like a good basic recipe. I can think of a dozen things to add to this lasagna.
Me flipan tus videos tia
That was weird when you turned the burner down the humming stopped!
I made this and it was really good! The only change I made was that I added mushrooms.
Yes, usually mushrooms and a little shredded
Carrot 🥕.
You look amazing
The first beep got me good, went to check my smoke detector lol
The humming isn't annoying imo, it's relaxing white noise to me. I'd make this without the zucchini.
Can you layer the zucchini and the spinach in raw? I want to add it to my tomato sauce in the lasagna which i allready prepped earlier and put in the freezer. But I am a bit lazy and do not want a whole lot of cleaning pots and pans. Or should i just stick to traditional lasagna?
I cannot see why you can’t add the zucchini - cut smaller of course, and the chopped spinach without bothering to squeeze out its water, into your sauce then layer your lasagne as is done in traditional meat lasagne. This is not going to look like HER lasagne however. It will be looking more like standard lasagne.
However I forgot to mention you would need pasta sheets to get the layers because in hers, she is using the long flat ribbons of zucchini INSTEAD of pasta (less calories).
IM hungry
she didn't spill any of that milk, if I did that it would be all over the counter and splattering on stove 😭😭
this looks delicious
👏
What is the difference between a bechamel and a Mornay sauce?
Mornay has Gruyere cheese added to the Béchamel Sauce.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Someone actually fell for that crap.
Everybody wants to be Hell's Kitchen contestants.
I really love the videos on this channel, but this humming noise in the background really makes it hard to watch. Is there nothing you guys can do about the sound?
i request a video on donuts please! 😊
Careful what you wish for... she will rock your world!!!
Zucchini steaks. :)) yummy
whats up with that buzz sound tho... ?
Looks wonderful except for the milk, which I do not use ... could I substitute almond milk for this?
Thanks for asking this and answer
I would add some shredded carrots
I am eating spinach lasagna while watching this lol
That looks delicious! More vegetarian recipes, please!!
Looks delicious. I might add some roasted or sauted sweet bell peppers to this. And, I'd probably want to add a tomato sauce (marinara sauce) over everything. But, I'm sure that this is great just as presented.
Looks yummy.. But I think it looks too dry.. Maybe don't squeeze all the spinach liquid out! But I'm gonna try this!!!
how many calories per serving?
Have you ever used a layer of white sauce and a layer of red sauce?
No....idiot.
Pasta
you are so beautiful and spinach lasagna is awesome
Aunt Rose --- nobody wanted your nasty lasagna in 1978. Now in 2018, there's a light & delicious version.
How many calories in one slice
6,978 calories per slice, Eva, so you can have one for dinner and one before bed.
xjAlbert. Lol lol. I be dead the next day. No thanks. Lol lol
Whenever I make Lasagne , Tastes lovely butit becomes bit Soggy & not as firm as Yours turned out .... Why so ?????
Machine for squeezing spinach water 🤣so typically west !
Only three layers??? 😮 You need at least five!
I don’t understand why you remove the vegetable liquid. It’s the taste and vitamins !!!
Exactly... Well if the squeezed version is better for the recipe at least you can use the liquid elsewhere like vitamins or soups
Sevgi A Because if you don't you end up with a pool of liquid at the bottom of your plate with lasagna on top. Yummy...NOT!
Julie L , She can remove the excess of course. But, she has completely squeezed the spinach. Top bad
I would use less milk in the sauce and add the squeezed liquid to it. It would even make the sauce greener which looks pretty imo
sahlioa great idea 👍👍
You're too far from the mic and there's a slight humming sound .
buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Great recipe but does anyone else get an annoying zooming sound in the background?
Do Americans call any type of pasta "noodles"?
I don’t and I’m American.
Induction burners make a whining buzzing noise, unfortunately. They need better mics.
test
Lmaoooo she listed instead of reacted
Could coconut milk be substituted?
R. Ann Rousseau I wouldn’t. The coconut flavor is too strong
This recipe was awesome . My channel is not better than you but I love your videos.
Get a sound editor to work on these please - the recipe is great and Sarah is great, but the loud background HUM makes it really unpleasant to watch 💙
This didn’t work out for me. What a waste. The cream sauce that was supposed to thicken was too watery despite following the recipe to a T😩
buzzzzzzzz
I love you Sarah, but you guys got to fix your audio. The humming sound is destroying your video presentation.
It probably taste fantastic and tasty, lets not think about how much saturated fats it contains because of so much butter and cheese.
Great recipe! Good thing you can cook fairly well...no way could you make it on your looks.
How could this recipe be modified to vegan? Cashew cream and or tofu?
Vegan white sauce can be made with cauliflower and non dairy milk.
A lot of starch in this dish.

Yuck

this looks too complicated and too much hassel to bother with, think I'll use someone elses recipe
You lost me at cheese 🤢🤮
Looks like someone took a cast iron skillet and smashed you once from the front and once brom the back side of your head.
