that is probably the nicest classic car I've ever seen
Foxbody was my dream in high school. 👍
Mine was the fastback but that one is very nice too
Great video. Love the Mamey car!! 🧡
Hahaha yes me too
Beautiful Car !!!
Thank you I appreciate the love 🤗
"Hell Yeah"😎💪👌✌️.
That 50 deluxe...
I am working on a 1952 Pontiac Cheiftain Deluxe, doing an LS conversion w/mustang II front end. Leaving it stock looking with the fender skirts etc.
Man that is a nice looking car! Send me some pics via Instagram @generation.oldschool
what size wheel is that? I have a 53 that I want to put those wheels on, just not sure about the size
All original then puts those big goofy wheels on it I never liked those n I think they ruin cars especially something so old
What size rims on the 50?
What year is your bug convertible? What size 6 is in your 50 sadan?
So cool man, great videos, really enjoy'm. 😎
Thank you sir! Thank you so much for watching
I got triggered by that GATX tankcar. I worked on those dame things for 18 years
What year are the doors that are interchangeable for a 50
That was very intertaining!
Beautiful car. I love all the chrome on these old beauties. And the sliding quarter glass. These coupes are rare. I have a '50 sport coupe waiting in the wings. Bagged isn't my style. Going genuine old school with a forward rake and 15" moons. Currently working on a '56 3100 short stepside.
The 3100 is one of my favorite trucks and one that I would like to rebuild. Send me some pics via Instagram if you have.
He's got good taste👍
Where are the skirts from ???
Damn that duly is fire.
Very nice 50 Chevy
Another cool multi car household. If you got one you need another!
That is very true! Thanks for watching my friend
The ‘50 Chevy and the VW are killer and also like all the other vehicles he has in his driveway 👍
Thank you! I agree the Chevy deluxe and the VW are the best among all, I also like the red station wagon don’t know why, maybe cause it the same era as a fox body mustang
Generation Oldschool yes I also liked the station wagon as my third choice 👍
💯
Hey bro, What are the rear skirts? I would love to get a pair for my 49! Thanks Keep up yhe good work!
That's tight! What was the song playing during the ride?
Best one!! Enjoyed listening to that man, you can feel the passion for his rides when he talks!
That bug is sweet!
Yes sir
Love it.
Thank you!
Wish I could find a coupe to trade for my hardtop
I have a coupe but I’m not trading it lol
@@GenerationOldschool
I hear that man lol
@@ninja63639 How are the floors in your 51, I have a 52 Chevy business coupe with solid floors and $5000 dollar interior, it also has a 59 235 truck motor in it.
@@Chevy-cz9ge
Let me grab your e mail and I'll send you a couple pics
@@ninja63639 I will have to get with my sister first. I just got this phone, so I need to have her send it maybe tomorrow, where are you located, I'm in St. Pete Florida?
👍🏻👍🏻*👍🏻👍🏻
Hola mami 🥳
Badass bro
RUINED
The wheels
I notice the Florida twist on bomb wheels, narrow low profile whitewalls with moon hubcaps and no beauty rings. I still prefer big whitewalls and beauty rings but the Florida style is growing on me
My dad got one of these when i was about 5 years old. Raised me on rebuilding the blue flame six and then the 350 that later went in. Moonlight creme was the body color and i think root beer was the name of the color on the top, it definitely looked like root beer.
Grew up going to Woodward ave, cruise nights and shows throughout the warm months ( Autorama and auto show at Cobo hall in colder months ). At the first woodward dream cruise i saw a 50 merc, chopped top and slammed with stupid HUGE pipes sticking up at a 45 degree angle called “ Sh-boom “ that would spit flames so far. I was obsessed, so i bugged him until he made his own. This was before you could readily buy a flamethrower kit. He didn’t do any accelerant injection like Sh-boom did but it shot flames perfect for any time in cruise traffic, whereas Sh-boom would heat things up if one was a little too close. 😂
That merc is still around on Woodward, at least during the dream cruise weekend and sometimes the weeks leading up to it.
He ended up having to sell that car after moving down to Florida and having some bad luck. I was told the guy turned it into a drag car.
I remember back around when he first got it he had checked the registry and there were only 94 left in Michigan at the time, at least registered. I wonder what the number looks like now, almost 30 years later as I have seen two in person in the past year! I couldn’t believe it as i had only seen a handful throughout my entire life.
One of the ones i saw is NOT in a restored state, and would no doubt be seen as blasphemous by a lot of old schoolers I remember. I wish i could post a photo cause it was absolutely wild build. Very much out of the box.
