Totally agree about this book. It got a lot of somewhat valid criticism and even hate. But it kept me thoroughly entertained and I couldn't put it down. 9 times out of 10 that's exactly what I'm looking for in a book, so I'm really happy a friend recommended it to me 😊 Plus, I really appreciated and related to the heroine's physical limitations and how she worked to overcome them. I did feel that the story was somewhat predictable though but I did not fully anticipate the last twist. Thank you for sharing your reading journey!

I also read Fourth Wing in one day (no impulse control lmao), but it has become one of my favorite reads to date even though it was sometimes predictable. Im about to start my second read today, and I'm so excited to re-read my notes & predictions to see if I got anything right lol.
(also, let me know if anyone else got a little hung up on the repeated use of "scalp prickling" etc. It just made me laugh every time I saw it 💀)

i definitely did😂it was a little eye roll worthy, but it didn't deter my enjoyment since imo it's such a good book despite it's predictability--and this is coming from a girl who was CONVINCED she was gonna hate it💀
