Very nice gliders well trimmed. I have been eyeballing the Hoosier Kitty for a while. Congratulations to the builder/flier. FF gliders are more sophisticated than is immediately apparent.
The last flight had me thinking it would be the last ever, wiggling and coming down assisted. My HLG flyaways were always a win/lose ‘cus they’re fairly easy to make. Good theater.
... well, ... that reminds me of the attempts at the beginning of the 1970s to bend a balsa board like a wing by applying strips of Uhu glue across the grain in the first third, then, of course, sanding with much too coarse sandpaper, ... has also works tolerably, ... if not as perfectly as here shown in the vid. ... ... fascinating how you "free flyers" bring such small material to real flying ...
I stumbled upon your channel yesterday and you sir are such a fantastic builder and flier. Do you attend Geneseo? I go and watch nearly every year, and I’m a volunteer there. Keep these amazing videos coming
Otto Lillianthal would smile as your efforts mirror his over a Century after his landmark flights so long ago. Bravo my friends.

Glider catapults fly great and this is an active holiday.
wow it flys sooo great . who made this long time flying glider deserves a respect .
The catapult glider looks like fun if you really like walking, lol! Thank you for the plans, it is an amazing gift!
So peaceful. Great video!
Next week will be even better when we get this humidity a little bit lower it just keeps raining ...
I must have a go at making one of these.
Such beautiful fights
Excellent, thanks

Thanks for sharing. Yes that was a proven methodology then. Nowadays, we just use a good planner and finely sand in the end to the desired shape.
Buenisimo. Pero que cambio de categoria. Yeva refuerso de carbono en el ala?
You make very good planes and videos. Thanks for putting this on here. Did you ever fly at the old Galeville Airport?
Yes, I was there from '87 (as a spectator) until the early 90s, for the one-design and FAC events.

Thx, I'm glad you enjoy it. Yes, I've been to Geneseo nearly every year since 1990. I love flying there.
@@maxfliart I will be looking forward to seeing you there then! Maybe you can give me some pointers with my flights. Thanks for the amazing videos sir
👍
I call it discus launch ... splitting hairs, I know. But, sounds fancy!
Discus launch - that is what we call it, but it should be named hammer launch - a true discus launch is done by holding the outside wing tip :-D
Shame about the music ! Would sooner hear the birds singing !
