Thank-you for sharing your family hikes with us. I don't know if I will get to visit there so, I enjoy you sharing your part of the world with us. Beautiful park.
People at work tease me and ask me if i can breathe and walk. At the same time. So tell her not to feel bad lol she is so cute. I love your channel. You guys are awesome.
Beautiful!!! Thank you all for taking us on the adventure. 🤗🤗🤗 I was freaking out when you videoed the bloody bear!! Hahahaha.... I am thankful you all are safe. 🙏🏽❤️
Blue Cactus Dairy Goats glad to be back. I missed this channel so much. But had to take care of some things and try to reorganize my feelings and thoughts...:-)
My third birthday also. In my childhood we lived for 4yrs in NM. Summer we camped on the Peco River near Santa Fe. I love the mountains. Mountains I see now are in SC NC and TN. Thanks for taking us along.
Aren't you guys scared of snakes? Thanks so much for showing another really cool mountain range and lesson about your state. I think you may have missed your calling as a history and science teacher. Have a great week.
This is Winter in Semidesert: the snakes, scorpions, etc. are in a state of semi hibernation at this time of year. The nights are super cold and longer hours, so the usual prey for snakes and such are underground and inactive. Squirrels, chipmunks, kangaroo rats are all asleep. The cold also makes reptiles VERY sluggish and slow moving. They den up, too. Among first things to know before venturing out is terrain, weather, and local flora and fauna. Deren knows all this and is teaching his kids by being out there with them.
What an awesome experience not only for you guys, but for all of us that went along with you through the video. My favorite part of it was seeing the kids enjoying the day and being active in nature. Thank you for sharing your hike with us.
Hi Derek! Yeah, half-moon dam, big boulders and mountain lions. Y'all be careful ... and look behind you every now and again. Who knows, it might be the ghost of Cochise himself coming for a visit.
Deren, you know the film is great when just the sight of those outcroppings and oaks makes me take a deep breath! The desert is wonderful in the Winter! Great video!
Love the views guys thanks for sharing with us . I'm waiting to hear what happens with the test. I hope everything is okay. I'm still praying for y'all.
Just breath taking! How far do you live from the Grand Canyon? We visit the South side. We plan to visit the north side. We didn’t even know about the north side until the day we headed home. We were there for a week. Took us about 15 hours to drive there. We loved it. Wonderful video Thank you for sharing.

Are there wild animals in that area???
Oh yes! Usually stay hidden though.
@@BlueCactusDairyGoats I assume you are prepared if one should change their mind? LOL
Aren't you afraid of snakes?😯
This time of year it's too cold for them but always on the look out :)
Derek! You're sounding a tad winded!
I thought I saw a snake. Ain’t no scorpions out there and mosquitoes? Y’all be careful. Any fish in there?
No snakes. It's pretty cold for them right now. Mosquitos aren't much of an issue here in the desert. Especially this time of year.
Spanish I’m impressed.
