My shoes only have six holes, so I did them backwards, instead of starting them going in through the bottom I went under and out first. It still looks cool. Thanks for posting how to videos!

Converse are actually really comfortable they don't have much padding but they are really thin and kinda flappy so it's easier to move your foot around
I think the diamond lace works better with wider laced shoes, like skate shoes.
