I respectfully disagree. There are many videos with screenshots and walkthroughs of Perusall. This one offers something else that is interesting. I think as instructors, we should be cognitively responsive: When we use tools, and pedagogical activities, it is good to explain to students carefully how they fit into their learning. This is both for us to validate that we know what we are doing, and for them to understand what it is they are doing. As such, I found this video remarkably helpful. It explains well the value of Perusall, how it fits within a course, and it shows to students what their participation will allow beyond simply fulfilling the grade. Prof. Blaschko seems to be a talented instructional designer and communicator!!
Instead of discussing Perusall by showing screenshots of its actual use, we have a talking head giving opinions. What a waste!
