Absolutely would leak for a full pee. It has the absorbency for a dribble while running to the bathroom. For a full accident, I prefer GroVia trainer with extra absorbency added in the pocket.
They are still cheaper than what disposables would cost. Plus you are not adding to the landfill by using these. I'm saving them for my second girl to use so we will save even more money.
Nighttimes are indeed a no go for me as well but I love these easy use for potty training
