Hi.. your anthurium collection is absolutely amazing. You do awesome job 👍 Can I have cheeky question? What medium do you germinate your seeds and what stage do you transfer to semi-hydro? I love growing in pon and have some seeds which have just put out its first leaf plus I have some recent purchases in moss (don’t like moss). Anyway just wondering when to transfer 😉 Michaela x
Hi Michaela, my seeds came in moss perlite substrate in a small sauce container. I kept it there until each had 2 leaves then separated each one and moved to pon. They are all doing well with 3-4 leaves now in the Ikea socker greenhouse sitting in front of southeast window with no additional grow light nor fan. Just a communal reservoir that I filled with my diluted nutrient water. Lol sorry if it is too much info 😆 and thank you btw 🥰
Very new to anthurium seedling. Do you root your seed straight in pon? I would be very interested on watching a video on how you take care of them because I am struggling🙂↕️
I root my seeds in a tree fern, perlite and fluval mix. (Equal ratio). I move them to pon as soon as they get 2 leaves. I find that they grow faster this way, in my experience. I do keep them in a cabinet until they grow out of it. I just use Barrina T5 lights and they love it. I will put that on my To Do Video list, thank you. 🥰🙏💚
I just love your collection.....love anthuriums so much too....I hope more that are rare become somewhat more common.....so many I want.....our list will never end! Loved this video so much and so so so happy for you and your channel is doing so well! Love tina
Wonderful collection, and I must say I'm very impressed with you pronouncing all of those difficult names so well! (Not that I would know if you were wrong, but it sounded good to me!)
Thanks ☺️ haha wow I appreciate that compliment on my pronunciation because I really try so hard 😆. Speaking is my weakness and I am doing this UA-cam thing to practice that and I am struggling 😅. So thank you, that makes me keep going! ☺️🥰
Fluval will disintegrate and lose its nutrients after a while so it’s not advisable to use it as a permanent substrate. I only use it as a rooting medium. As soon as I see enough roots, I normally move it to pon and then reuse my fluval for another prop until it starts breaking apart, thats when I discard.
Pls another anthorium video for 2024, wishlist or whatsoever… hahahaha im here just checking out if you have recent video for your anthoriums… coz i hoarded more than 30 pots of anthoriums from indo and ecua, 🤣🤣🤣
Beautiful Anthurium collection.
Thank you ☺️💚
You have a beautiful collection!!!
Thanks Nina 🥰

Anthuriums really are a mystery when they are so small - they all look the same until they mature a little
I love the surprise factor that you get later as they mature 🤩
Hi, Are you going to be selling any of the Red Crystal seedlings? If so, how would we purchase one? A RC is at the top of my wishlist :)
I have not thought of that yet lol, probably for pick up though if I were to sell them. I am not equipped to ship just yet. 🥴
can i keep some of my plants in fluval stratum like some do with pon and soil?
