This song fits Planet Wisp very well from Classic Sonic's perspective. His outlook on the planet's situation (half lush, half factory) has him compare it to the bad futures in Sonic CD. *Also this song freaking slaps, am I the only one who thinks this?*
Seems rather cynical for Sonic no? He also successfully ensured the Good Futures at the end of the day, so why would he dwell so heavily on those dark scenarios? I'd analyze from the perspective of the level itself, Classic Sonic being within the superstructure of Eggman's facility, where the discordant machinery and absence of nature is far more readily apparent than the contrast Modern Sonic runs through.
I don’t think it sounds apocalyptic enough to be a JP bad future. It sounds more like it would belong with the US bad futures, specifically US metallic madness.
This is only track, that I don't like in Sonic Generations. It perfectly fits factory, but not the planet wisp. It's gonna be better, that when classic sonic runs inside the factory, this track begins to play, and when he isn't on factory, plays music, more like colors act 1 version.
@@muz426 imagine Jesus Christ being the one who comes to planet wisp and this song plays as he sets foot on the grass and says “all life on this planet. Let them be free” Honestly this could fit for Jesus Christ’s theme song
i think its kinda funny how everyone just agreed that this is the bad future version of planet wisp
True
Yeah
Didn’t even realise that up till now damn and it would fit perfectly as a bad future soundtrack.
Maybe
I just love how it has the awkward second-long pause at the start

Technically wouldn't sonic cd not have occurred for classic sonic yet? Since he's supposed to be from sonic 1
@@rubylikessonic2 He's from Sonic 2. Otherwise how would he know Classic Tails?
it's not the same without hearing SPIKE! interrupt the music every 6 seconds and having it restart only to hear another SPIKE!
That’s why I never get spikes. I just beat the level without using the wisps so I can listen to this

Planet Wisp Bad Future
It's basically an alternative to sonic simulator planet wisp. Both have retro feels but are done differently. I think I prefer this one though.
I mean, one was done with a more 8 bit feel while the other was 16-bit/classic sonic styled
Bad future.
Unpopular opinion: This song is amazing
Damn right
Kenichi Tokoi's bass guitar is really nice!

The new and improved version. You don't hear SPIKE! every five seconds.

Well for 90% of the level you ARE in the factory, amd the hazards are crazier in Act 1 anyways, so it ifts the theme.
