02:30 has got to be the most unexpected/awkward narration transition I've ever experienced.. lol Talking away, covering all the important notes; then BAM.. Music. No, "goodbyes" or "hey guys, I'm done talking, here's some music!".. Just.. Music. ..but then, right when you think it's over.. He's Back! (And as if that confusingly awkward, near 2-minute pause, never happened)! Informative, and entertaining none the less. Bravo.
The FPS difference is so minimal that it is just a total letdown. Specially considering the "Whole NEW ENGINE to finally fix Arma 3's poor performance" pr bullshit we were fed up by BI for the last 5 years. So they spent the last 5 years and millions of $$ to make basically a whole new engine for what really? 10 or 15 more FPSs? What a joke.
That's a good point. I have personally enjoyed the optimization improvements, but Im glad you mentioned your perspective. I wish I could say I was getting 144 Hz.
@@nannertime Remember that Reforger has 1/4 the assets amount and Ai features that A3 has. So if you go into Arma 3, load the CUP Everon Map, remove 80% of the Ai features you would get a far better performance in Arma 3 compared to Reforger on an "EVEN comparison" scenario regarding features and asset amount.
ARMA 3 on low settings, as we can see, drastically makes the textures super low resolution! But Reforger has better visual assets and quality even on lowest, and also more trees and environment in general.
last update increased minimum fps,now i get 120 FPS minimum anywhere before CPU bottleneck(10700k),but game is still limited to 1KM distance even if you put 3km+ ...also twice more powerfull hardware used 3060 ti loaded 100% at 1080P while arma 3 1060 6GB only at 90%...and much worse graphics at long distance(engine turn all objects in few pixels to save performance) physics and gameplay horrible...
@@nannertime awcorse,they release 100+ fixes every 2 weeks,only after a year we will see all basic functions work.physics,animations,weapon mods,vehicles,helis,destruction.and if they fail we will never see arma 4
@@nannertime year update, my buddy gets 189 fps on the game now with a 4060 graphics card and a AMD Ryzen 5 5500. when he gets to towns and all that it goes to about 80-90 but when hes in an open area like a forest or farm land he gets the full 189 frames on low settings.
Hi, im deciding to either buy arma 3 or reforger. Whats the best arma game out of those 2 if im going to mess around in the game editor and play against ai in it. Is there more vehicles and weapons in Arma 3? Thanks!

@@luigisaguier8336 It makes me hope that BI will optimize the game more for Arma 4. I did appreciate that the explosions did not cost any FPS.
@@nannertime Set particles to medium or low in Arma 3 and explosion barely touch -10 FPSs for a couple seconds...

def a bigger fps boost then that for sho. i get 80-140 with medium settings on reforger
16k hours on arma 3 lol optimized my system around arma 3 so I get roughly 400 fps on single player and 200 on koth

Definitely Arma 3. Reforger is not a complete game.
